For everyone who keeps questioning the warranty information:

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)

So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.

(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

Sony's pushing it as part of their "PS5 Ready" series and is actually one of the few TV's capable of gaming 4K at 120 Frames...however this tv will not do it out the box until a firmware update Sony has yet to push. It's assumed they'll do it closer to PS5 launch Source: https://www.techradar.com/news/sony-ps5-ready-tv

I mean you bought this way back in July. So you've enjoyed this TV for about 2 months while others patiently waited. Maybe just go to Costco and see if they will price adjust without all the hassles of returning. Cause you returning will just cause your TV to get sent back to Sony and they will then have to sell it as refurbished and then reship it somewhere else to sell. The carbon footprint of all this is huge.

So, it has been mentioned on here more than once that the manufacturer warranty is 3 years. It isn't. Its 1 year. Costco may give you 3 year but sony only gives you 1. I looked at sony.com to double check.
This model does indeed come with a 3 year manufacturer warranty from Costco. Feel free to post your proof if you believe otherwise.

Is it a best bet to buy it on October 25th in case costco drops the price on or before November 25th? 🤔 (for price adjustment)

This is amazing news, I have had my eye on this TV for months now

I'm gonna ask my best friend to put it on her Costco Citi card

Would the extended warranty be under her name or mine?
I see a judge judy episode in the making.... She'll never believe you.

These manufacturers warranty is a sham. They don't cover physical damage to the panel. Neither do SquareTrade or any other. So have to very very careful about these TVs
There is a difference between Warranty and Insurance.

Is there a way to get this deal without being a Costco member? Looks like membership is only $60/year, but I just don't think I'd ever visit the store to grocery shop.

You say that but.....Costco is well worth the $60, just for the chickens and gas savings 😂

I gave you a like for the idea but so you know if you bought Oct 25 technically the 30 day window ends Nov 23 (unless they go by the day of the month) and BF is Nov 27.

Crap, I bought the front page $600 Samsung deal earlier today but this is the TV I've had my eye on for a while. You think it's worth spending $370 more to get the Sony? Obviously will come with a much better warranty and 90 day return window.

Slickdeals Newbie...if I buy this now thru Costco online can I just price adjust? Seems so...just looking for validation : )

As a side question, anyone have a better option than these legs that are still too far apart for my current stand? I wish they'd all go back to center.
I have a 65 inch Sony TV (prior version), which I believe should have similar dimensions to this one. I bought the following stand for it from Walmart for $99. It is sleek looking and matches the black and silver combo, which is both on TV and the stand. Unfortunately, the price is much higher now.
