For everyone who keeps questioning the warranty information:

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)

So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.

(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

Sony's pushing it as part of their "PS5 Ready" series and is actually one of the few TV's capable of gaming 4K at 120 Frames...however this tv will not do it out the box until a firmware update Sony has yet to push. It's assumed they'll do it closer to PS5 launch Source: https://www.techradar.com/news/sony-ps5-ready-tv

I mean you bought this way back in July. So you've enjoyed this TV for about 2 months while others patiently waited. Maybe just go to Costco and see if they will price adjust without all the hassles of returning. Cause you returning will just cause your TV to get sent back to Sony and they will then have to sell it as refurbished and then reship it somewhere else to sell. The carbon footprint of all this is huge.

Oh OK. Anyway I think it's a really good deal so do not just hold back due to that coupon. I have decided to go for 75" version, otherwise I would have ordered one by now to get it price matched later.
Yeah agreed I went ahead and (finally) pulled the trigger. Will get the price adjustment next week.

I'm sorry if its' already been asked, but when do these prices go live on the 30th? Is it midnight EST? Or some random time?

I pulled it too. I stopped at our local club and they only had four. Wasn't trusting that to be available when I go to buy it on 9/30. If they won't PM or there actually is a 7 year warranty with Costco card purchase that can't be meshed in with today's purchase at worst I can try my luck online to buy it again with these perks and return this. I won't open it til 9/30

Just went to Best Buy and they had these in the dim Magnolia Room side by side:

X950H and X900H. The X950 is the clear winner.

I have a basic recent LG 4K HDR I got as a SquareTrade warranty replacement. It does not have local dimming or high brightness. It's just a decent TV and often on sale in the $300-$400 range. The X900 would not be enough of an upgrade for me to buy. I'm sure on paper it's much better, but it does not seem that much better in person. The X-950H came home with me.
The 65 inch 950H price is 70 percent higher than the 900H.

But is the banding issue real? From his video it seems like the 900h has it and the 900e does not. Genuinely curious why you think he's not a good source.

I'm contemplating the Costco 900h deal or taking an hour drive for a 65" 900e for $400 cash.
Yes you can get one with banding, Its a trait of LCD, This is not new, There's always a panel lottery with just about any TV. Mine came in pretty good. Although I probably will be getting a different one from Sony as my HDMI port 3 is dead and it sounded like they are going to do a swap.

Not sure on what time the prices changes online, but you could just buy it online now and submit the price adjustment form in a few days.

Also pulled the trigger. It arrives October 2nd so I can request a price adjustment before it even arrives. This will be a massive upgrade from my 2014 LG.

I bought one today from my local Costco store in Brooklyn! What do I loose??? NOTHING...
Price will be adjusted in a few days...When you see ,that a few asian guys getting it too ,it's very hard ,not to buy 1 for yourself.
Brooklyn Costco has like 10-12 pcs. to sale.

My local store has 19 on hand. I wonder if that will be ok come Wednesday. I want that 5 year warranty instead of 3.

What are the chances that the 75" will go on sale as well? I am very tempted to purchase this, but was originally planning to upgrade to a larger screen.

The blondie would say:" 50/50,because,it will go on sale(50%),or it will never go on sale(50%)..."

I thought about doing that too except my store only has three left right now and they might be gone first thing in the morning on 9/30 (and I have to work so I can't be there then). Hoping to order one online (if 5 year warranty + 2 more with card and can't pm at store) and bring the one I bought yesterday back to the store
