Based on the information from this thread and another community, I created a guide so that more people can hopefully navigate this deal easier and so questions won't be continuously repeated.

Because this will be a living document, I created a Google Doc for ease of updates: https://docs.google.com/document/...sp=sharing

Note: I am not a T-Mobile employee and this is my first-time doing a trade-in with a Hookup code, so I am learning alongside most people here; thus, my guide may not be fully accurate. Feel free to make suggestions for corrections if you notice any mistakes or parts that lack clarity. And if you found my guide helpful, please post a response here just so I know and will continue doing these. Thank you.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

Since this involves a trade-in, just want to remind folks that you can trade-in in person at a T-mobile corporate location and by doing so, avoid any surprises from mailing in your device

Starting 9/25 get a Galaxy S20 FE 5G for just $200 over 24 months via bill credits when you trade in an eligible device:

Apple: iPhone 11, XS Series, XR, X, 8 Series, iPhone 7 series
Samsung: Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note10 series, Galaxy S9 series, Galaxy Note9, Galaxy S8 series, Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S7 series
Google: Pixel 4/4XL, Pixel 3A/3AXL, 3/3XL
OnePlus: 8, 8 Pro, 7T Pro McLaren, 7T, 7, 7 Pro, 6, 6T
LG: V60 ThinQ, G8 ThinQ, G7 ThinQ, V50 ThinQ, V40 ThinQ

Or get one free via bill credits when you add a line.

THIS STACKS WITH THE $200 HOOKUP CODE! Remember, only one Insider Hookup code per account, whether it's the 20% or the $200. See here for details on that promo. Please do not ask for hookup codes in this post.

Please note: This WILL NOT stack with the free line. The free line ends 9/24, and this phone promo begins 9/25. There is NO WAY to get this phone for free using the free line. Please don't bother support trying to do it.

https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...-s20-fe-5g

Click the magenta text at the top of the page to see the offer for $500 off. Must be logged in to see the offer. To see the "free with add a line" offer, open in incognito. Please note the $500 off page currently says "when you add a line and trade in" but the adding a line part is a typo and not necessary.

There is misinformation about RAM and processor on TMobile (865+) and Amazon (8GBRAM) website.

My brother (in Dallas) called his local T-Mobile store and talked a rep. She said she had no knowledge of this. She said she didn't even have FE model in store. Any thoughts that I could pass onto him?

Did I miss something where TMO was giving $500 for the S7 towards a Note20, because that seems crazy that I would have missed it, but I also don't see why they'd be giving $500 for the FE and *not* have given that for the Note20.... I just got a Note20 off of Swappa, so that is kind of annoying, but I might take the GS7 that was upgraded from and get one of these for myself at $200...

hows this phone compared to the Oneplus 6t? Parents are on the 6T but I think Samsung UX is better than stock android for them. I personally have the regular s20

It does mention may differ depending on a mobile carrier. Does it mean TM is 8GB RAM? Very confusing tbh

Yep, my trade in never made it last time. Stuck somewhere with usps for a month and a half.
Hmmm.... Nuked USPS option or risk employee screwing up the 17 promotions that are on my account. I don't think I'm a huge fan of either option. Wish Samsung would just go ahead and screw around and give more than $100 for the GS7

ok so I mail in my pixel 3a xl (perfect screen but scratches/dents on the case), I only need to pay 200 for the S20 FE? nice deal. Haven't seen a decent TMO-Samsung deal for a while.

This looks like a great deal on an exciting phone. I have a Note 10 plus and not seeing much reason to upgrade, even though Im getting an itch to change phones.

Between this deal and the earlier a71 5G deal, I think TMobile will have some really good phone offers coming up before the year ends. They must have a ton of unsold phones sitting around and their going to want to give those away practically to get people on the 5G bandwagon.

I respectfully disagree on the A71 5g deal. It costs 350 after the promotion. Not much difference than the A71 4g version and A71 4g is 360 only.

I hope we are talking about the same deal. I traded in my 2017 s8 for the a71 5G and got the $200 type 3 gift card. Only paid $70 out of pocket for tax.

No porting needed

The s20 fe seems to be a similar deal, except it is $200 + tax + trade in upfront, and getting the $200 gift card is a toss up right now. Still a good deal for the phone though.
