Correct me of I'm wrong, but this seems like the 2020 version of 2019 Frontpage Deals from Best Buy (this and this).

This TV (65R6090G) has high marks on Amazon [amazon.com], where it's selling for $599.95.

Anyone have any experience with this one? Seems like a pretty good deal.

Who would have thought that SD would have ever seen the day where 65" TV's are under $400 and people are underwhelmed.
The fact Costco is selling it makes it more tempting than other low priced/budget TVs.

It also makes it seem like early Hisense adopters are vindicated with buying this brand.

I have a 2019 version that was for $300 from bestbuy black Friday last year. Is this newer one much of an upgrade?

Max brightness approx 650 nits. Higher than my TCL for sure which struggles with HDR

I got the 65 inch R7 last year from bestbuy for the same price. Decent low budget TV and the roku interface is great. The back light is so so, if you will use it in a very bright room then you will need a brighter one unless the R6 is brighter which I doubt

Be aware, its a 60hz refresh rate still. So, future 4k TV buyers who may be looking for a PS5/Xbox game TV should probably know this.

I've had a 42" Hisense for 8 years now and it is still going great. Have not had any issues at all. Picture quality works for me as I am more of an incidental TV viewer.
