you can get IPS for this price
Why would u want IPS over VA? VA panels have higher contrast ratio (3000 vs typical 800 for IPS) and will have more realistic blacks and shadow details. Colors can be adjusted via the color wheel to match IPS colors and viewing angles aren't a problem on VA monitors as you're so close to the screen you're sure to be dead center.
If I'm missing more important reason, please tell me as im not an expert on the matter at all, so I would love to learn why IPS would be better than VA on a monitor for gaming.
(I do care about picture quality/accuracy vs response times etc - I'm not a competitive gamer, I mostly play single player story driven games)

Overal, VA should be a better choice and is more often recommended for budget-oriented consumers. However, if you have money to spend than IPS will provide better response time as well as a bit better in color reproduction with the drawback of contrast ratio as well as some backlight bleed
Edit: don't know why this get downvoted so much, looks like a pretty decent deal to me.

I agree. I cant stand the backlight bleed that I've experienced on cheaper IPS panels I've owned for years past. And i must have the contrast lol. Unfortunately I don't have money to spend on a better panel, so I personally find this deal amazing. This monitor has been getting "best bang for buck" reviews since 2018.

Probably because it's a lousy post (contentwise), mentioning neither the store nor the price in the title. Posting deals from the Slickdeals app must be horribly broken, as most really poorly formatted deals are posted that way. Poor links, partial titles, inadequate information. I expect it's a shortcoming of the app, but one which the site owners have chosen not to fix because they no longer care about quality content and just want more thread to drive eyeballs and referral click-throughs regardless of actual value.

You cannot match ips with calibration with VA. Also Grey to Grey response is terrible on VA, for gaming you want TN or IPS. VA is great for movie and lower refresh content. Watch any hardware unboxed review for these panel types. I sold my last Samsung VA panel for a cheaper Korean TN and it's so much clearer for gaming.

This. I watch movies on my TV that has dark blacks and local dimming. My PC monitor is strictly for browsing the internet and playing games. IPS is better for gaming than VA, not looking at the cost.
Also isn't 32" too big for 1440p for good PPI density? I mean this seems like a pretty decent deal, but in my mind 27" is for 1440p and 32" is 4k territory. To each their own, just my thinking.
