You have to purchase in the store because they have to add a line. Also make sure you check the inventory. My store said one in stock but they had two.

They do let you see the total before paying. The guy said there appears to be an error. I said is it not coming up at $150 and he said no the phone is only $50 and he looked and found there was a sale on the phone which brought the price down. So we tried it again and it worked twice. Someone on the other thread said the same thing happened to them.

What if I price does not comes down after activation? Can't say I don't want to buy as card already activated.

They show you the price before the activation. If the price isn't right you can walk.

I'm currently on ATT 1 year prepaid plan and it is about to expire next month. I would like to retain my number as well. If I purchase and activate new sim can I use my current sim by throwing new sim away?

That should be the correct price instead of $100. Walmart website also shows $150 with $50 plan activated. Unfortunately, someone got it one just before I got there .

Just tried at my local store, phone rang up for $349. Cashier refused to even try to add a $50 prepaid card saying that there were no additional discounts.
