This is nice! Wish I had the room for it, would buy one
I have a bigger one in my room that also has a leg press! Next to my work desk.
I sleep on the floor. Lol doesn't bother me, been doing it for 2 years. I never have back pain unless I sleep in a bed. And I find it 1000 times easier to wake up and get to it, rather then being swallowed by cushions. Giggady

You might try the above trick, too. Maybe it will work?

And please report back if this idea works.
This the message I get when I try to order it using that trick.

I attached screenshot but it's not showing/

This is what it says

Honestly, I don't have space for this but wish that I did. This looks amazing. I ended up ordering a bench and dumbell set from decathlon, and a cheaper ish bench from Amazon and am super happy. I'd rather invest in smaller compenents one at a time. All other things that are available take forever to ship from china or are out of stock which sucks. Decathlon is amazing for building your own fitness station situation on a budget!

Bookmark the item page and just keep checking back once a day.

For my zip it showed OOS when I checked on Monday, but today it shows in-stock with a delivery date of Oct 5th. So, I am guessing they have regional distribution centers, and the item ships from there. So, if they get stock in the center the page will update.

Also, this deal has been on & off every couple of months (regular price is $1599). So even if you miss out this time, it will probably come back for the holiday sales.

What are you even talking about? That's a normal price for these units. In fact this is the cheapest functional trainer of its kind. Typically they're 2k+

My attempt at a home gym, so far weslo treadmill, marcy recumbent bicycle. About $400 invested in both. Not gym quality but decent enough. I have a total gym but its been in my back yard for over a year prepandemic due to a house remodeling and no space for it. So it's likely rusted and unuseable. I have a super old weider flex gym 2000 cable pulley machine, but also no space to use it. And I have the ring fit adventure for Nintendo switch which is fun supplementary workout option

I'm guessing this product has a lifetime return policy as with others at Costco?

I think the bench might have been intentionally designed extra-low to provide a little more clearance for some of the pulldown exercises. One of the complaints is that there's not enough space for taller individuals.

Nonetheless, I purchased the bench and the poster. Both seemed well reviewed and useful.

As to flooring, I was surprised to see so many options are OOS. They are almost as scarce as gym equipment! Of the remaining options, the CostCo EZ Flex Interlocking tiles were the best combination of price vs. quality. But I took my chances and purchased some 4' x 6' x 3/4" rubber stall mats from the Tractor Supply Company. They are not as refined a product, but they will take a beating. I don't have to worry about dropping any weights onto them.

However, as commonly complained about, THEY STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN. I unloaded the mats from the back of my pickup truck two hours ago and I can still smell the residual chemical/rubber odor that clings to my hair and clothing. I'll wash the mats down with detergent tomorrow and let them air out for a couple of weeks before installing them in my garage.
I left our stall mats outside for a few days (our local farm store kept them outside as it, but in a pile...) and they still stunk up the entire basement once I brought them down. But I left the basement windows open as much as I could for maybe a week while I was waiting for Simple Green to come back into stock, and honestly, never got around to ordering the SG. They've been fine ever since the first week or two.

For those complaining about the price... this is actually a good price - and was pre-covid. I've never used this exact piece of equipment, but for comparison, go look at some pre-covid reviews of Hoist equipment. Significantly more money and people seemed to love them.

For those wondering if you can haul this by yourself to setup, I have the FT2 version which is almost the same as this FTX and was able to lug it to my basement no problem. The posts are heavy but still manageable. I'm not super strong or anything just took my time and put it together.

The remodeling industry is seeing a big trend towards customizing home offices and home gyms. Many home gyms are having carpet tiles installed with a rubber carpet tile cushion under it, made by Leggett and called Tred-Mor carpet tile cushion. Should check it out. If you tear or damage the carpet, you replace that small, damaged carpet tile only, and the commercial rubber pad under it is great for the equipment.

I got this a few months ago. It was originally $1799+tax but the price dropped a few weeks ago. Costco/Citi gave me the credit for the difference.

As for the machine. I love it. It's probably the machine I missed the most when I stopped going to the gym after Covid hit. I prefer bodybuilding/physique volume workouts over strength/powerlifting programs. Aesthetics is my goal. The amount of different exercises and muscle groups you can hit with cables is great for those chasing the pump. The bench is low but I found the quality/durability to be higher than any sub $200 amazon bench I have tried. As others have said the weight on some exercises is easily maxed out for intermediate and advanced lifters. I am a little bummed to read that they don't sell addon weight for this model.
