I have this exact model from Costco in my basement. It's been great as everyone mentioned but some information and suggestions for other potential buyers.

1. Weight - This thing is as heavy as you'd expect. It comes on a pallet with three large boxes and a bunch of boxes full of weights. You might be able to move the pieces by yourself but really should be at least two people. It took 4-5 hours to get fully put together.
2. It comes with more resistance that i expected. I debated on ordering additional weight from the manufacturer Day 1 but glad I didn't.
3. Motion - Smoother than i expected. The cable move really smoothly for a non-commercial piece of equipment. For tricep pushdowns it is a little short but it's doable and there many alternatives.
4. Bench - For me, it is basically garbage. It's far too short for practical use and I ended up getting a regular size one off Amazon that is much better.
5. Wall poster - Since i'm not the only one in the house to use it I got a $10 wall poster from Amazon that has a bunch of different types of exercises.
6. Flooring - Costco had some really nice 1/2" foam gym padding I got to put this and other equipment on. If you're even considering it, doing the flooring first will be a hell of a lot easier than after.

Overall i'm very happy with it as it substitutes many other pieces of equipment, and is quick to switch exercises. Hope this was helpful

I'm not in the market for this item, but I just wanted to give you some karma and appreciation for your post. It makes the decision to buy or not buy, so much easier for all when we have SlickDealer users give their first hand account/experience. That's sometimes better than the reviews you find online.

All the best,

These types of trainers are typically used for accessory movements. Not sure how or why you would want to squat, bench or deadlift with this. Aside from those, this would be enough resistance for any other type of compound movement.

The pull up bar is definitely needed to maintain the machines structural integrity. I would under no circumstances operate this machine without that bar installed.
Yeah, it ended up fitting perfectly under my garage door with the original pull-up bar thanks to the height measurement verified by jkedmonds76. This thing is solid and as smooth as any of the commercial cable machines!

Bought it from Costco. Thanks, OP. I also looked at many other websites and couldn't find a cheaper price than Costco.

Think you got it backwards. It supposedly doubles the resistance. Its apparently 330 lbs.
You have it backwards. The true resistance is half the labeled weight

It's back in stock! Does anyone know if this would be able to be disassembled to move to another room or another house if I move? Thanks!

Anything can be disassembled. The question more is how much do you want to take it apart before it's manageable to be moved.

If anyone is looking for a super cost-effective alternative, consider a pair of Titan Pulley Towers. I have two of these and for <$400 it was a perfect option for my garage gym. Obvious detractors vs the OP is it being plate-loaded and needs to be wall mounted; but at a third of the price.

Would anyone recommend placing it directly on the wooden floor? Or the floor mats are absolutely essential? It so, are there any alternatives to floor mats?

I have this in the basement on laminate flooring. Before fully assembled, I put furniture felt pads similar to the long strips in the link below underneath the bottom of the metal frames. It's been over a year, absolutely no damages on the floor. Wave

Is there really enough head clearance to do pullups w/ an 8ft ceiling?
96-85" only gives 11" of headspace which doesn't seem like enough?

That's because it's a Costco-specific model. Anyone else selling it bought it at Costco and is trying to flip for a profit.

People are pulling the same BS with the Inspire Dumbbell and Olympic plate set.
