That doesn't work at my house, she knows all 31 by name and I know all 13 of hers.

These have been as low as $480 in the past. I bought the Strat last time.

I recently picked up a used '18 Player Tele and it is an amazingly wonderful playing guitar. I love the 9.5" radius neck. I've always preferred rosewood but the maple fretboard just works on a Telecaster and I dig it.

The block saddles at the bridge are great, no wounds while palm muting.

I like to tinker and mod guitars, but with this one, there's no real point as the stock pickups sound so good. When I get time I'm probably put a 4 way switch in it for series parallel, but that's a back burner project.

Knowing what I do now, I wouldn't hesitate if in the market.

If you're in the market for a budget strat or tele, you owe it to yourself to check out the Yamaha Pacifica before you buy this. I did that years ago and it's been a great guitar for me.

Think it's been about a year. Haven't been that low since Corona.

For what it's worth, these went down to $480 a year ago.

Fender just pushed through a bunch of ~10% price increases. Demand is strong during C19 and Fender is not shy about jacking up the price.

Maybe the Fed should pay attention to Fender if they are looking for their beloved inflation.

These are Made in Mexico, right? Not a bad deal considering MIM guitars seem to have gone up on the used market recently. They're all $400+ around here. Rather buy new at that price...

So true. You get a lot of guitar with the Pacificas if your looking for a strat type of guitar. Fantastic value and great playability. Unfortunately a lot of guitar players have to have a certain name on the headstock before they will consider it.

A Pacifica also gets you a 13-3/4" neck, rather than the standard Strat 9.5".
