In store Special Buy (~$360 savings) stacks with Appliance Discount ($500 savings)
  • Bosch 800 Series B36CL80ENS (Pocket style handles) Refrigerator / Freezer is on sale in-store only as Special Buy for $3,058
  • Bosch B36CL80SNS (standard handles) on sale for $2,932
BOTH fridges stack with the current promo of $500 off appliances over $2,499.

I called one Lowe's and verified that discounts stacked, went to another and purchased. I was not able to stack it with the 5% Lowe's card discount. Free delivery too, and $30 to haul away the other dumpster fire.

Also found that service plan was a decent deal - if you replace filters at $40 a pop every 6 months, the plan reimburses 50% of that or $200 worth over 5 years, and if you don't use the plan for service, you get 30% of the plan cost back at the end of 5 years or $88 for this fridge (30% of $294)

Counter depth are popular for galley kitchens. They are more expensive.

I have the counter depth Samsung 4 door refrigerator. Our previous standard depth looks silly in our narrow galley kitchen.

In other words, if you have the space, don't get a counter depth,
Kind of silly it is less expensive for a bigger fridge but it benefits me so I guess I won't complain. Thanks

Yes it does. We just got a counter depth because I hated the way our old once stuck into the room. My wife hates it, claiming it doesn't hold enough.
Better make that wife happy and get the fridge she wants dude.

You've got it wrong. Smaller ones are more expensive, because they are made in much smaller quantities,

For an additional data point, I bought this exact fridge a few weeks ago to replace our broken JennAir. I paid $2,674 before tax.

21 cu ft seems very small for counter depth. I thought they go up to 25 cu ft for this standard. Also at $2500, this seems way overpriced for a fridge this small, plus no external water dispenser. Your other 4 door fridges from whirlpool, Samsung, and LG are usually 1500 or less, and they're typically the same size or a little bigger. I know some people will look down on a Samsung or LG fridge, but at that price, just get an extended warranty. You'll still come out ahead

Buy the Lowe's extended warranty. You will get have back if you never use it and I think half back on money spent for filters and those filters are $50 bucks and have to be purchased somewhere else as Lowe's does not sell them. I just updated all my appliances last month to Bosch and have no complaints. Sure the water and ice not being in the door is a little inconvenient but the fridge looks so much better without it and with the ice maker being in the freezer and not in the door there is a lot less chances with the ice maker breaking.

Just a heads up from a Bosch fridge owner: Be sure to measure the height of your fridge area if you have a casing for your fridge, or cabinets above the area.
Yes, the dimensions guide says with hinges and doors 72" H x 35 5/8" W x 28 15/16" D

Amazon doesn't sell appliances. They have some appliances from 3rd party vendors, but because Amazon themselves don't sell appliances they get few reviews, and it tends to just be the bitter 0.01% that got a lemon and went to every outlet to complain. Best Buy/HD/Lowes reviews are at least somewhat more representative.
dont trust bestbuy or hd lowes reviews. you cant fimd and bad ones there. they want to sell their products.

how do we dispense water and ice on this? open the fridge everytime?

I have lots of Bosch tools so I tried a dishwasher...that was a mistake.

No way would I drop thousands on a Bosch refrigerator
My diesel BMW uses Bosch injectors and glow plugs. As a result of my experience with unrelated products manufactured by conglomerate, I elected to buy a Bosch dishwasher.

Yes, if you dispense ice and water many times a day, this fridge may not be for you. Front door ice makers seem to be a major point of failure these days, especially on French door fridges where the ice gets stored in a special compartment in the refrigerator section. For counter-depth French door fridges, that compartment and the ice maker also take up a lot of valuable real estate.

My wife and I get ice out of the freezer on our Bosch several times a day, and haven't found the relative inconvenience to be remarkable. I actually like that I get the amount of whole ice cubes I want quickly with a scoop, rather than some whole ice and lots of shards dropping in random amounts out of door dispensers.

Does anyone know if there is any in store special value deal on the 3-door version of this refrigerator without the extra drawer? I am not sure of the benefit of the extra drawer and it seems the handle style of the 3-door (CT) version would be a better match for my existing 800 series dishwasher.

FYI freezer is on the bottom. So not for those who prefer freezer on top.

When it comes to quality appliances, there are only two kinds. Bosch and the others.
