This is definitely worth considering if you're looking for a DIY Peloton. I purchased it a few weeks ago as a form of home cardio and I'm loving it. If you're moving up from this price point, you're doing so for on-board bike computers & possible built-in screens.

This is one of the more recommended bikes as a DIY Peloton. You're getting magnetic resistance, belt driven, 4 way adjustable seat, & adjustable handlebars. Throw on a cadence sensor + figure out the comparative resistance with Peloton classes and you have yourself a solid DIY Peloton.

I would have considered purchasing a Peloton, but Peloton locks you into a $40/m subscription if you purchase their bike. The same subscription you can access for $12/m if you don't own a peloton product. If you're set on a Peloton and want to save some $$, they will be introducing used models in the near future.

Tempting. We sold our treadmill last year and wife has no where to hang our extra clothes. How many hangers will this accommodate? I couldn't find that in the specs.

This model has magnetic resistance so that shouldn't be a problem.

Wouldn't Echelon sports connect a better option for same price. It is a solid bike. It has magnetic resistance and feels similar to Peloton. Also Echelon sports connect out of the box supports, Candace, speed, resistance, output, distance.

The echelon sports connect handlebars are only two way adjustable up and down.

This has four way adjustable handlebars, up and down, also towards and away.

Do you really need four way adjustment especially at the cost of all other amazing features it provides. I am using Echelon bike for few weeks now and never needed that handlebar adjustment

The big picture specifications match a Peleton: belt driven, magnetic resistance, heavy flywheel. Makes a smooth, sturdy and quiet ride.

I have this bike, the handle bars are an issue. Its nice to have the four way adjustment as stated, but the mechanism that they use is poor at best. My handle bars are not level, and the up and down adjustment does not hold.

Can anyone comment on what the differences in feature or quality is with this bike? Pretty large price gap between the two. https://www.amazon.com/pooboo-Cyc...r=1-6&th=1

If you have a means for transporting it, check Facebook marketplace and craigslist before you order. I got my sunny bike which was $350 on amazon for $225 locally assembled and barely ridden. So many spin bikes on there right now.

I purchased a similar bike that should arrive on Friday this week. Along with a cadence and speed sensors and a heart rate chest strap. Sensors are Wahoo and polar that I'm using and all sync with the peloton app.
