This is definitely worth considering if you're looking for a DIY Peloton. I purchased it a few weeks ago as a form of home cardio and I'm loving it. If you're moving up from this price point, you're doing so for on-board bike computers & possible built-in screens.

This is one of the more recommended bikes as a DIY Peloton. You're getting magnetic resistance, belt driven, 4 way adjustable seat, & adjustable handlebars. Throw on a cadence sensor + figure out the comparative resistance with Peloton classes and you have yourself a solid DIY Peloton.

I would have considered purchasing a Peloton, but Peloton locks you into a $40/m subscription if you purchase their bike. The same subscription you can access for $12/m if you don't own a peloton product. If you're set on a Peloton and want to save some $$, they will be introducing used models in the near future.

Tempting. We sold our treadmill last year and wife has no where to hang our extra clothes. How many hangers will this accommodate? I couldn't find that in the specs.

This model has magnetic resistance so that shouldn't be a problem.

Is this bike better or equivalent to the Inspire one from costco? Which one is better?

Anyone recommend a seat for these stationary bikes? I always find these uncomfortable.

Been using this bike for about a year and a half now pretty much daily between the wife and I. Its held up great and makes zero noise. Its a super smooth experience.

I purchased a similar bike that should arrive on Friday this week. Along with a cadence and speed sensors and a heart rate chest strap. Sensors are Wahoo and polar that I'm using and all sync with the peloton app.
Can you pls link to all the sensor s you are using? Thank you

Can anyone comment on what the differences in feature or quality is with this bike? Pretty large price gap between the two. https://www.amazon.com/pooboo-Cyc...r=1-6&th=1
Biggest difference I can see is the flywheel, it's 18 lbs lighter. Also is rated for up to a 270 lb person as compared to the Sunny's 300. Also, and this may or may not mean anything at all, searching youtube the Sunny bike is compared to the bigger name brand alot, while the pooboo is just talked about as an inexpensive bike. Seems to indicate the Sunny is a little higher quality, or maybe I'm just reading into it too much.

You only get 2 way adjustable handlebars and a 26 pound flywheel. Compare it to Sunny you get 4 way and 44lbs.

Figuring out what peloton resistance is what on the sunny is not that obvious unfortunately. That may be an issue for those of you who wants to follow the peloton classes to the letter.

I'd rather get the Echelon for $500. Through the app you can get cadence and resistance (no subscription required, go to the "freestyle ride").

As far as I see, this Sunny bike doesn't give you any information on cadence or resistance etc.

I just ordered this yesterday (waiting for it to be delivered) after some research + price point. This came up on a few DIY Peloton recommendations and has the magnetic resistance. I believe it was very similar to a Peloton bike except for the flyhweel weight is 35lbs vs 38lbs (If I remember correctly).
