I have had my pair for about 10 months and already went through 4 replacements...latest one was today. Been an Apple user for years and never had such a bad experience with their product. I do like these buds but I strongly believe there is a production/design flaw that Apple will probably never admit....

i don't know why anybody would spend 199 on airpods knowing that the battery will stop having reasonable life within 18 months. Awesome if you can expect to get 5 years out of them...18months...come on man. If they had a reasonable priced battery replacement plan..then okay. But they don't.

Any ideas if this will be the best price until black friday? Reasonable offer having in mind that new airpods studio and lite versions coming out later this year ?

Yes, at the moment from Authorized Reseller. The new studio or lite versions are not confirmed as of yet.
Did this sell out relatively quickly last time around? If not, I recommend you wait until the Apple event on Oct 13th as new AirPods might be announced. You may want the new ones instead, these AirPod Pros may get a permanent price drop or drop in price even further, or you may decide this deal is right for you.

I got these the last time they were $50 off, because for some reason I had over $120 in rewards checks from ink recycling that I hadn't used yet. I like them more than I thought I would, very much recommended.

The current consensus seems like there will not be any Airpods related announcements this event. Will be good to go for the following event though.
Still; outside of a higher quality headset no one is really sure what it means for the earbud type Airpods.

I noticed these symptoms day 1. Unfortunately I bought mine used so I have no warranty on them.
I assumed it was just me walking causing the noise but I'm glad to hear I'm not crazy.
