Once you get the new SIM just activate, keep current #, and all the benefits will roll over and stack to this plan. I believe many people suggested to use the Tracfone chat and keep records of everything but those agents are very helpful and will make sure your current benefits get transferred over. Good luck!

So is this worth a "hit or miss" gamble for $30?

I have a Verizon based TF that is 2 mos. old (Moto G7 Optimo).

It appears, at this moment, that I can add a Verizon sim at the Ebay site.

It's because the last few times the deal was screwed up & lots of people got sims that did not load the service. I've bought a lot of these in the past but had to get refunds on the last ones, it's a crap shoot.

Yes you can. Last year I was on US T-mobile and switched to Tracfone-T-mobile without a problem. However, my coverage in the Washington DC area is better with ATT than T-mobile, so this year I wanted to try to switch to ATT but I learned if I switched that I would loose all my rollover minutes and texts I saved with T-mobile . So think longer term.
