For what it's worth, Consumer Reports has the Blue Air 211 as their #1 air purifier and a "best buy".
I have both the 211+ and 121 and they are essentially the same exact thing. The biggest difference is the size of the room that you are putting the filter in. The 121 (the larger of the two) is in the family room while the 211+ is in the master bedroom. Something to keep in mind is the replacement filter cost; the larger 121 of course has a more expensive filter which is replaced around every 6 months. Either way...I think blueair filtration is worth it especially since I suffer from a lot of environmental allergens and this helps make it less sufferable.

Thoughts on this vs the Costco 121 deal for $299?

These are not ozone free. If you have asthma, do not buy, the ozone generation even if small, will make asthma worse.

Great prices for these. We have two of the 211+ in our house. My wife never needs to dust.

They are kinda loud on high, so dial back your room size expectation and run them on medium. On medium it sets 3 feet from my easy chair and the noise is barely perceptible while I watch TV.

Blue air claims the ozone coming out of their system is less than the air going in. https://www2.blueair.com/sa-en/oz...th-effects

Yes but a lot of companies do this, it's marketing bs. There are purifiers that don't generate ozone (I believe Dyson is one of them as is molekule), why doesn't BlueAir just give a simple answer "yes we generate ozone but very little" as opposed to a 3 page long response...

fyi: "By contrast, ionizing is key to the function of the HEPASilent filters used by the Blueair Blue Pure 211+ and Blue Pure 411, so you might not want to turn it off. Blueair says its filters produce very little ozone."

They do admit to it producing trace amounts. https://www.breathingspace.co.uk/blueair-faq-i78

"Ionization does produce trace amounts of ozone, a gas known to irritate compromised lung tissue. Blueair systems use a very low electrical current to minimize ozone production and a sealed steel housing surrounding the ionization chamber to keep ozone contained. For more protection, our activated carbon filter adsorbs any ozone particles that may escape from the encapsulated ionization chamber.

In fact, testing shows that the ozone concentration in our system's output air is actually lower than in the incoming air. Blueair's electrostatic system is no threat to health, even for those with respiratory illness."

The 121 filters are $80 at amazon, vs $70 for the 211

Been debating on an air purifier, for people that use them do they truly feel a difference?

These series 411, 211 are not true HEPA filters. Take it for what it's worth but per Blueair:

"Unique HEPASilent filtration technology is equal in efficiency to true HEPA, while using less energy and less noise"

I think you need to step up to the 280i / 480i series to get true HEPA.
