Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible

Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...

Just chatted with Tforce, the requirement for the phone to be active between 8/2-10/2 has been removed.
I would definitely wait to see it in print from T-Mobile before trying to attempt the submission for a non active phone to qualify

I read through some of the messages... I didn't sign up for 30 months, I signed up for 24 months. I double, triple checked the contract.

And yeah, if you have an X or newer it isn't a slick deal, but if you have a 7 it is pretty slick. I didn't think we would get crap for our phones.
I think the EIP is 24 months but the credit is 30 months.

I believe the trade-in device need to be active with your account for at least one day between August 2, 2020 - October 2, 2020. T mobile is smarter now that you can't just buy one off craigslist/ebay for the trade-in.

I got my iPhone 8 2.5 years ago through trade-in upgrade and has been active for 2.5 years. So no issue for me.
Got it. Thanks

Do you guys get the email order confirmation right away? I made the upgrade/trade-in this morning and so far only got the email for my signed EIP agreement for the iPhone 12 pro.
There is no email confirmation with order number yet.
Talked to T-Mobile chat rep and they don't see my order from their side.
This is very weird and confusing.
It took a while, a few hours and someone called to confirm and they also LOWERED my prices!

Was it a higher trade in value because you are starting new lines? I was quoted $415 for an Xr.
It was a promo for new accounts. We use Metro now, so that is basically limp mode Tmobile. They have good 4g coverage in our area, but more importantly they are showing good 5g coverage on the map were I like to fish!

What? This is good, if true... TForce people are actually good, so I'm inclined to believe it... Sure it wasn't just for you? I've got one iPhone 8 that qaulifies and another that does not...

I suppose they are just trying to make sure you are not just buying one off swappa and trading it in.

I have an iphone 4s that doesn't qualify for the rebate so I was asking for one time credit, then the rep replied that she just heard the requirement has been removed. I'm still waiting for new reply.

Has anyone asked or thinks they'll lower the price by $30 on the actual T-Mobile site like they eventually did on Apple?

Small crack on the back of my XS (back glass). I can't find anything about the back of the phone making it illegible. Any ideas if it wouldn't qualify?

Is it just me or can others not remember when you signed up for tmobile? I'm wondering if I meet the 5 year mark.

I'm a noob so forgive me if I'm off base but the upgrade section that I quoted talks about activating the new SIM that comes with the phone and moving your number to it. Wouldn't I then be able to cancel the old line, not lose my old number, and then keep the new line for the credits?
The keyword there in that section is "upgraded" which assumed you upgraded your existing line. If I for example upgrade an existing line to the iPhone 12 and want to use the SIM card that comes with the new phone, I could move my phone number from the old SIM to the new SIM card, but it doesn't swap a phone number between two different lines.
