Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible
Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...
Hoping for iPhone 12 Mini promos.

If I trade-in iPhone 6 with existing line and upgrade it to iPhone 12 and cancel the line after 1or2 months, do I still get the trade in credit and $200 loyalty?

When the trade pin is via sent in verse in store, you can get away with more slight defects. Crack across screen is typically NG. I've send chip on corners edge of screen, cameras issues, etc with no trade in issues. Not for the other estimate in the other reply.
Yeah if you have a concern I'd definitely go the store route since it's up to the store associate to verify it meets the criteria. If you get a forgiving associate, then you're good.

Though from what I recall, the store has to take your phone right then and there, so if you're doing a preorder you'd have to be without a phone. Or you have to count on the phone being in stock in the color/size you want after launch.

How do they give you the $200 credit back? I talked to multiple sprint customer service and they said that it is the system that doesn't give me the loyalty credit and they cannot do anything. Do they give you $200 right away? Or they just "promise" you will receive that over the next 30 months?
I was just really persistent. I don't think they can bypass the system that provides the monthly credits so they credited the full $200 to my account. I have already received it.

You can try calling or contacting them via Twitter too.

Are you one of the lucky random people who got a 24 month EIP?
Because $17.30 x 24 months is $415.

Dig through your emails to see if you find an old email from when you signed up?
Otherwise you have to contact them.
I used the Tmo app and the chat button on the top right corner. Typed in how long have I been a tmo customer. They answered in 1 minute.

I have an old iPhone 6 laying around. I take it since it hasn't been activated in a while it is not eligible. Is that correct?

You guys all ok with 30 months to pay back??
24 months seems like a LONG time already. 30 months and you're out of sync with new phones, so it's essentially 36 months before getting a new model.
Rep told me mine was 24 months.

The person I was responding to wanted to know how to find out without contacting T-Mobile.
I wasn't sure what else to suggest because chatting with them is contacting them lol.

It should work for the $215 trade-in credit, but not the $200 loyalty credit.
