Does not work on black or the silver and that's a strong pass on pink

Just used this today to clone a drive. It's slow, but super easy to just start cloning and walk away. No computer needed.

There is a 5% clip coupon in addition to the coupon code. Brings the price down to $20.24.

Edit: Removed text that claimed a 10TB limit. It is either 16TB limit or no limit depending on who to believe (product page info indicating 16TB or question/answer response by Unitek/Ocean Technology on page indicating no limit).

Note that apparently the max drive capacity (I assume per drive) is 10TB's.
From product page.....

Dual Bay Hard Drive Docking station supports all 2.5''/ 3.5'' SATA I, SATA II, SATA III HDD SSD. Supports 2x 16TB hard drives.

Seems some of the reviews/question and answers are indicating lower capacities by what I can only assume is earlier models. In of the question and answers it indicates 8TB another indicates 10TB. And another response (from Unitek/Ocean Technologies) says there is no capacity limit. Go figure.

Edit: And your right it says 2x16TB when I look at the Amazon product page in a web browser. In the Amazon app that last portion of the product title including the 2x16TB was not showing (cut off) when viewing in landscape mode on my phone when I placed the order. LOL

I'm pretty sure it's the marketing departments that do this. They look at the largest capacity drive at the time and try and use that as a selling point and then it never gets updated after that. There's no technical reason that drive enclosures and docks, like this, can't accept larger future drives.

All by itself? No. It is only has a USB 3.0 connection. It does not have a RJ45/Ethernet port. It is designed and intended to either be; a stand alone disc cloning device, or one connects the dock to their computer or other similar device via the USB cable and that computer or device can access the hard drives inserted into the SATA ports on the dual bay dock.

Could one setup a computer or other device as a network server, connect this dual dock to that computer/device and serve up data off this docking station to network clients? Probably.

I read through the reviews and saw size limits too. Then I saw a review from 2016 was one of them. I am hoping that they kept the old reviews with new tech. But, if I get it and a 10TB won't work..... guess who is getting a rose gold item back. laugh out loud

Really? Not trying to be a jerk, but I have a few from a while back that can't do more than an 8TB? I thought that it had something to do with the chipset? Which, is why I haven't bought a few on Shellshocker deals in the past few months that say they can do 2x8TB.
