If you are not a heavy data user, say less than 3GB monthly, major savings are available. I was with Verizon and all the costs just kept adding up. Monthly fee, line fee, 911, taxes, regulatory, on and on....

Is Xfinity right for everyone, no. Is it right for savers who don't use a phone constantly for streaming, for video, for online gaming, for regular Google mapping; yes it is.

My monthly bill is between $16 and $28, just depends on data usage. Locations I had a problem with Verizon service are the same locations I have problems with Xfinity, but those are very, very few.

My Verizon bill, no matter what was around 60 per line. Don't need to pay all that money to pad someone else's pockets.

Look at your monthly data avg., to see what makes cents and dollars.

Received the below in e-mail. So I assume that one cannot cancel line after 3 months and also get $250 still? correct me if I'm wrong.

"$250 Off: Offer ends 1/4/2021. Requires purchase of new, eligible iPhone while supplies last, 24 month Xfinity Mobile Device Payment Plan Agreement ("Device Agreement"), activation of new Xfinity Mobile line and transfer of phone number from another carrier within 30 days of phone purchase date. Device credits applied monthly to your account over 24 months so long as Device Agreement is in effect. If line is canceled, voluntarily or involuntarily or device payments are accelerated, balance of credits associated with device payment are forfeited. May not be combined with other offers. Not valid with prior purchases, returns or exchanges."

Looks like I'm seeing only for new lines. Also, doesn't look like you can pay phone off early, or you forfeit the credit.

Just BYOD, you get a $25 prepaid card for each device you bring. Then you are a customer, and you will get the $250 as a gift card instead of billing credits for 24 months when you upgrade your device. Of course you will have to pay for the phone outright and wait 60 days to unlock

To put it simple, The 250 dollars discount is not upfront and issued via bill credit over the period of 24 months device contract.

So this is deal only if you intending to stay with Xfinity mobile for the full period of 24 months, correct?

Yeah I was thinking about this but they may have some fine prints about what makes you a customer.

BuyBackBoss is offering $190 for 8 Plus 64GB in good condition. I always get the highest offers from BuyBackBoss and I had no problem getting my credit for the iPhone 8 Plus two years ago - they're offering $380 for my XS Max 64GB right now.

Yeah but they charge full price for the phone which makes BBB+XM the better deal.

This information is helpful for Verizon customer like me planning to switch over to xfinity.
Regarding the third point you made about the location and signal loss, if I have good phone signal coverage in my area with Verizon, would that be good coverage with xfinity too?

$250 Back: Requires upgrade of an existing Xfinity Mobile line to an iPhone and activation within 30 days of order. Existing phone must be paid in full if eligible phone is purchased online or pre-ordered. At least 50% must be paid if purchased at an Xfinity store, and an upgrade fee may apply. Prepaid card mailed to Xfinity account holder within 16-18 weeks of phone purchase and expires in 180 days.

When I select to pay in full right now, the $250 off/back message disappears on the next step. When I select monthly payments, the $250 message is still there. I just want to pay in full now and get a $250 card back. Has anyone confirmed this?

Yeah, idk if they have a time requirement or maybe don't allow you to redeem more than 1 promo in a given time span. Seems a little risky.

Yes, Xfinity uses Verizon, so coverage will be same as Verizon.

At my home, I get signal on Verizon only. AT&T has no coverage (voice or data), T-mobile gives me voice roaming coverage only, 3g if I stand outside the garage. My option is Verizon (or Verizon mnvo) only.

I switched from Verizon ($200 + taxes for 5 lines) to Xfinity Mobile ($60 for 10gb for 5 lines) last month and I have same exact signal/speeds as Verizon.

We use Wifi at home (1gbps xfinity connection). Mobile data usage is ~7-8gb between all 5 lines combined.

Even if xfinity mobile data is slower, I doubt you will notice the difference on your mobile device between 25mbps and 50mbps, unless you are on a hotspot.
