If you are not a heavy data user, say less than 3GB monthly, major savings are available. I was with Verizon and all the costs just kept adding up. Monthly fee, line fee, 911, taxes, regulatory, on and on....

Is Xfinity right for everyone, no. Is it right for savers who don't use a phone constantly for streaming, for video, for online gaming, for regular Google mapping; yes it is.

My monthly bill is between $16 and $28, just depends on data usage. Locations I had a problem with Verizon service are the same locations I have problems with Xfinity, but those are very, very few.

My Verizon bill, no matter what was around 60 per line. Don't need to pay all that money to pad someone else's pockets.

Look at your monthly data avg., to see what makes cents and dollars.

Thats correct only 15 if you don't go over the limit. Set the alert if you about to cross the 1GB and make easy switch to next tier which is 3GB for $30 for that month and again switch back to 1 GB. I do this all time without issues and save ton on stupid line fees. Last 7 months my mobile bill is $17 for 2 lines every month.
thank you so much for this info. I just found out that this is available to xfinity internet customers only and they don't service my area, I wish there a way around this

Locked into 24 months to save $250? Not a great deal.
That and it took an fcc complaint for me to get my phone unlocked on their last deal. Not the most efficient bunch over there.

Don't shoot the messenger but thought I'd share my experience with them. Once I filed the complaint I was called immediately and the phone was unlocked in 10 minutes.

So how much will it cost for 4 lines monthly if data is <1GB the next 8 odd months during COVID and say 5GB after? With T-Mobile where I pay 120 incl taxes and Netflix and unlimited everything. So wondering.

for someone that has been a verizon subscriber for the last 20 years, and happy with their service, what are the pros and cons switching to Xfinity mobile? I understand they use the same vzw towers? So thinking speeds and reception should be the same?

Curious to know if anyone from vzw switched to here, and their thoughts.
I was a vzw customer for 35 years, switched last summer to Xfinity mobile. Service has been identical, except the bill is 1/3 what I was paying verizon. After a year, I'm still pretty happy with this service. At least 3 people I know have switched, all with similar experiences.

I have yet to get the "gift card" they offered for the 4 lines I transferred from AT&T. Lots of fine print in their deals. Just a buyer beware. Service wise I haven't had any issues. I have 4 phones on the plan and we mostly use Wi-Fi so I use the by the gig plan and pay $12/ gig ( grandfathered plan) shared if I am going to get to 3gb for the month I switch to the 3 gig for $30. You can switch back and forth anytime from the app. It's very convenient. Bill is about $45 a month for the 4 lines. The 911 fee is more than my service most months. I am saving a ton every month.

Oh! Never mind, preorder for this starts late as it gets released on 11.6.

Around $20 bucks now.

Later on, you'll probably want to switch to this plan.

10 GB
$60/mo + tax/fees = $65 ish

$13.67/month. I have Xfinity TV & internet. I'm grandfathered in on the old pricing plan. I think the current is $15/month + taxes.

I'm wondering if I take advantage of this offer if they will move me from $12 to $15.
They do not force you to move but they do warn you that you won't get access to 5G.

I just went ahead and migrated because I did some math and switching to Tello would save me $259.44 over 24 months so I want to see what priority data looks like before I commit myself to another few months of being locked to Xfinity Mobile.

I had verizon for years always had good reception at home and work. Switched to xfinity and sometimes I can't even send an SMS from home. Granted I went from a Pixel to a Galaxy, might have been the phone. But I'm sure ymmv.
Thanks

No there isn't. My line costs be $13.64 with tax, that's only $1.64 in taxes and fees. You must be thinking of US Mobile that hides their $2 line fee and $3 of additional fees until you checkout...
