and every few days i have to restart them for the upload speeds to be normal. they drop to .01mb/s
2ghz wont pass 30mb/s when my old 5 year old router delivered 110mb/s on 2ghz
5ghz delivers my max speed but for some reason videos lag and buffer.
my chromecast cant connect to it no matter what i do
set up was annoying
range is terrible, not near whats listed.
tp-link doesnt have a way to use mulitple routers in a mesh setup like my last routers (asus) did. major disappointment.
TLDR: i will be replacing these with a google mesh system + a gigabit switch. i hear it just works without headaches.

Or the Deco devices. Probably the Deco X60 at Costco. Sale price was $250 a few months ago.
Can't go wrong with Google Wifi. Consistent reports on stability on those things. I don't think they support Wifi 6 yet though?

I'm coming from an Archer C7, which has performed ok, but is starting to have issues (probably because my husband and I are now both on video calls at the same time), or one of us is on a call while the other is trying to stream. I have about 2,000 square feet that I'm trying to cover (through walls, etc).
Is it worth upgrading to the AX3000, or will the AX1800 do everything I need?

2. No you would still have to setup the router, there is an app they make you install on your phone that runs you through all the steps. You will in most cases have to rejoin all your devices to the router, because your old router probably used a very old security protocol and during the setup its going to ask you to use the latest security protocol to secure your network. 1. After looking a little further into it, this model might not support usb printer sharing cause I dont see any mention of it in the manual. Usually they mention it, but all they seem to mention is external hard drives.

2. The modem they sent is like one step up from your current modem and it can support max speeds of around 500Mbps. So yes it is better, that does not mean you will see faster speeds though, but it might help keep the service running slightly more reliably. If you install the new modem you will have to call their support to set it up on your account just a fyi they usually do not work right off the bat till you call the company to activate it.

#2: I will swap out the modem. I guess because they they sent me a modem/voice device, does it mean I have to get rid of the Arris Voice MTA that I have as well?
Nice that there is no rental fee on the modem/voice device. I can't believe Spectrum is so nice.
