The Type-C Port is a full Spec Type C port, supporting 10 Gbps Data, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Power Delivery. So, Type-C Charging is supported but it comes with a normal Barrel Pin Charger.
DP 1.4 supports 4K@120 Hz, 5K@60 Hz. So, if you buy a Type-C Hub or Dock with DP 1.4 and MST (Multi Stream Protocol) with multiple 4K supported Display Out, you can run two 4K Monitors @ 60 Hz. Example is https://www.amazon.com/QGeeM-Dock...B0823BQ4PK
This is a pretty damn good deal for the specs. 4500u, 512gb ssd, user upgradable RAM and IPS display. It even has a fully functioning USB-C with PD and DP. I would be all over this if I didn't already buy an open box HP Envy X360 with a 4500u. Don't forget about the 5% cashback at Walmart as this quarters Chase Freedom category.8.5.1
It is User upgradable but HP always discourages users to do that. 45% NTSC roughly converts to 60% sRGB.

Ah I just bought the HP Envy x360 w/ 4500u from Best Buy on sale yesterday. I feel like the only difference is build quality, touch-screen, and 360 possibilities..the x360 is very robust though.
If $539 is the regular price, how did this make the front page?
Show me anywhere where you can find a laptop with these specs for cheaper? If you were to buy this directly from HP, it would probably be at least $700.
Can you run a crucial scan and see what the ram max is? Walmart says it's maxed out at 8gb ram but that seems low. Thanks
You don't need to run a Crucial Scan to know how much Ram is supported. The max Ram support is always limited by the Processor used and available Ram slots, for years now. The max size you see in the official Product page is mostly the maximum Ram they are selling the model with, not the max limit.
All the Ryzen 4000H and U series CPUs support 64GB Ram and this Laptop has 2 Ram slots. So, by using 32GB stick, you can go up to 64GB without any issue. For at least last 6 to 7 years, no Laptop manufacturers are known to restrict the max Ram capacity on their Laptops artificially, lower than the capacity supported by the Processor.
