Assuming this wouldn't stack with the additional $200 customer loyalty rebate but has anyone checked?

Absolutely no reason to do this deal if you are a long time Tmo customer and don't plan on going anywhere. Here's why:

1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.

2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.
Great points, repped!!

Good deal for iPhone X trade ins $250+$150, no $10 sim fee, and no bill credit. Basically, same as t-mobile pricing. In for 2.

I agree with your points and I too would wait to see if Costco matches (as I am a Costco member too). Not all people are though so while a very valid point, it won't appeal to everyone. Additionally, Costco is known to have limited supplies in terms of storage and color so it may not have the make/model for certain people.

Still, all valid points!

Does not seem like a bad offer. Trade my Dad's iPhone X to Apple for $250 and get another $150. That is more than what i can sell at Swappa.

How will Costco's offer be better? They usually have that $800 trade in special in Nov, but you usually have to add a line. That is a better deal, but this was is really easy.

I screwed up the price. It's for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, which start at $799. Initially only Verizon and Apple were discounting to $799, while T-Mobile and Sprint customers had to pay $829 for an entry level iPhone 12 with 64 GB. That changed today and they dropped it down to $799 for the iPhone 12 for all carriers.

Additionally, the $150 is not an instant cash back. You have to submit the rebate to get the $150 discount.

Also, you have to factor in whatever your trade in, which varies.

I cannot update the price (it won't let me), but if a mod wants to, that's perfectly fine.

It doesn't. That has to be done directly through T-Mobile and not Apple.

Yeah I feel like trade-in/up promos with T-Mobile usually require adding a line. I feel like Costco ones do too. You might be shooting your self in the foot if you skip the current Apple or T-Mo deal.
