  • When you trade in with Apple, you'll get an estimated trade-in value. If you pay monthly, that value will be applied as an instant credit to lower your monthly payments. If you pay in full, your payment method will be credited after your trade-in is received.
  • Pre-Paid Mastercard expires 6-months from time of issuance.
  • Lines must be active and in good standing when card is issued. Allow up to 2 weeks after fulfillment of offer requirements.

is it the same promo code and website for sprint customers?
Once completing the steps on purchasing, Apple will send an email with the link to the site. Most likely it is the same site but I'm not 100% certain.

Absolutely no reason to do this deal if you are a long time Tmo customer and don't plan on going anywhere. Here's why:

1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.

2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.
That's not the case with everyone. I traded in my iphone xs max for $370 +$150 = $520. Plus apple is offering an extra instant $30 off for t-mobile users. So it's in $799 instead of $829.

How? I placed 2 orders and did not see the instant $30?

You did it through apple? When ordering through apple it says extra $30 instant discount if you pick the tmobile version. It also has it for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.

This is a good deal depending on which phone you're trading in to T-Mobile; obviously ones like the first gen SE or another older iPhone you'd get much more trade in value from T-Mobile with their promos. If you're not eligible for the additional $200 loyalty rebate, this brings it right up to T-Mobile's offer with bill credits.

I bought my current iPhone last year direct from Apple and it's so much easier to just pay one time and your phone is already unlocked. I'll probably order thru T-Mobile because I'm eligible for the $200 loyalty rebate but if you're not eligible for it, this Apple deal is definitely good with the +$150 kicker from T-Mobile.

How did you get the extra $30 T-MO discount from Apple?

It's for the iphone 12. When you order through the website or app, you pick the carrier version and they give you an instant $30 discount.

Apple is offering them on the non-Pro models from T-Mobile and Sprint too instantly. Doesn't look like it applies to the Pro though as it is it's regular price.

I stand corrected! If you are Sprint customer, you ARE eligible.

Thanks. Where do you see that Sprint customer is eligible?

You're buying the phone outright from Apple. Not sure if they offer military discounts with Apple.
