2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.

1. Don't quality for the 5 yr royalty promo
2. Have iPhone X / XR to trade (lower model gives you less than what you would get from t-mobile and trading XS/11 is a waste IMO)
and if you are getting regular iPhone 12, it's even better due to the $30 instant saving offered on apple.com

If you qualify for the additional $200 from T-Mobile, that's the way to go! The $200 is paid as a gift card or whatever, not bill credits.
