Apple trade-in credit

1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.
2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.

Using 2020APPLERETAILT1 at https://promotions.t-mobile.com/promotion and entering my phone number, the promotion didn't work. I had to select the "I do not my promotion code" option (or whatever it is) and enter in my purchase date and the promo worked.
