How does the trade-in credit work?

Apple trade-in credit

1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.
2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.

They extended the purchase dates? GREEEEAT. I've had an android my whole life, due to the fact of open source. I'm highly considering getting the iphone 12 pro max because I can keep the exact payment that I have with my samsung galaxy s10+. The ONLY thing I'm worried about is I use the sprint hotspot h@ck to put my phone as a hotspot to hookup to my android headunit. Does iphone have something similiar?
For the Sprint redemption, the link is www.sprint.com/offers. [sprint.com] The link sent in the email from Apple does not work for Sprint customers. Also, remove the "T1" at the end of the promo code, when entering this on the Sprint website. I purchased a Sprint iPhone, and the email from Apple for me to redeem the promotion was to the T-Mobile website, which didn't work for me, as my Sprint line was not recognized as a T-Mobile line. Using the link above, and amending the promo code worked for me. Just waiting patiently for the 'processing' of my $150 mastercard....
