1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.
2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.

1. do I need to select activation later or prepare for carrier activation NOw option.....or anyone option is fine.
2. do i need to keep my friend's sim in the new phone for certain number of days to get $150 or.....just activate the sim and then take out the sim.
