1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.
2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.

quick update:
I sent one of my SE in for $210 for an iPhone 12 pro purchase that I made. This one had some scratches on the top right side due to me being clueless that these screens scratch up easily and placing another iPhone SE on top of it while I was at the apple store picking up my 12 pro and attempting to trade some in, which my store refused to do due to covid. This one went to Carlisle, PA. It got there on 12/8/2020.
I just received an email that it was accepted for the full $210:

I paid my 12 pro with gift cards so I have to see if they will refund one of those gift cards or send me a brand new GC.
Anybody has experience how Phobio handles those return devices "must be a lot I guess"?
How long they ship it back after I rejected their $0 offer LMAO?
I think T-mo may start processing the $150 rebate on/or after 1/9/21 to make sure they don't give $150 for free in case some ppl returned their iphones on the last date (1/8/21).
