1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.
2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.

I just remembered about this
I clicked on the promo page in the original post.
I put my phone number to check the status, it made me log in, and then I had to click to access the card. The $150 Expires March 2022
