Kimberly-Clark has initiated a voluntary product recall on Cottonelle® Flushable Wipes sold by Costco due to the discovery of possible microbial activity on the wipes.
You can return the unused wipes and get a full refund. I returned the product yesterday and got full money ($16+tax) at my local warehouse.

The last thing anyone should have to deal with is an infection from a product like this during the pandemic. Also the company is very opaque about what symptoms it causes and how serious it is.

Yes I agree, there is no clear message as to what exactly they found and in what amount.

I received email from Costco. Good thing is Costco is taking return for whatever is left and they refunded the full amount. The lady did check my lot number and confirmed it was part of the recall before initiating any refund.
I hope Amazon is doing something along the similar lines. Did you talk to their customer service to get refund?

The company created a recall for the product and even setup a process to get a refund (https://www.cottonelle.
By the way, a simple 30 second google gave me this: "Pluralibacter gergoviae (formerly E. gergoviae) are part of the normal intestinal flora and may be considered an opportunistic pathogen. Individuals with weakened immune systems, who suffer from a serious pre-existing condition, who have been treated surgically or belong to another sensitive group of persons are at particular risk of infection."
note the normal intestinal flora part... if you don't know what that means, give this new fandangled gadget called google a try.
