Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

man... $228 for a full array led 4k 65" TV shipped free. Imagine seeing these deals 10 years ago, you'd hardly believe it.

Just wanted to pitch in my .02.

Just mounted it on my wall in the bedroom. OS is awesome, having only one remote is a dream come true. Looks good with my PS4. No glare and awesome integration with casting through Roku. Still need the Chromecast for some videos. It seems to have an airplay function.

Best TV I've owned to date, we'll see if it holds up over time.

Can others put effort and prove they are able to register this TV(65") with Onn, instead of larping and hate??

I only shared what happened to me, others need to share what they find out.

bizarre I know asking this......

Pretty Please..
Onn is a Walmart brand. The Onn rep you spoke with was probably confused since these units are manufactured by Hisense. The box says 1 year warranty plus a second if registering. They can't advertise a warranty on it and then say there isn't one. Walmart had also never sold a product "as is" either. It has a warranty you don't need to worry about it.

Walmart/Onn/Hisense will honor the warranty if something happens, they're not selling a product with no warranty. Im currently getting warranty help about a speaker bug on the tv as we speak.

I hope you are right, I want you to be right. Still, you listed Walmart, Hisense, and Onn "will honor the warranty" if something happens. Well, which one is it? Or will they finger point and pass the blame on to the others? My old man was a printer, his joke was "Since its printed, it must be fact!", that's since morphed into if its on the web, its fact.

On Onns' register website this model TV is not listed, so I ask again can someone else, please ....put in the efforts as I did and try to register this TV with Onn. Post the experience, findings, and proof.

I look forward to hearing what happens with your speaker deal.

I just registered it on https://onntvsupport.com/ without a problem. The model was in the dropdown listbox. Here's the link to the warranty sheet which they show under the specific model: https://onntvsupport.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/2-year-Limited-Warranty-42-inches-and-above-onn.pdf

Check the numbers again. This is Onns register page on the website- https://www.onntvsupport.com/#form-0

This TV is not there. Show the email confirmation, if possible.

Manufacturers don't always list each model on their site since they often make retailer specific ones. Onn handles the warranty. In the rare chance you run into issues Walmart would step in. You have the warranty in writing on the box and the documents inside it as well.

I just picked the 65" 4K UHD HDR10 Roku TV and provided the serial # that shows in my settings screen and it said "Thank you for registering". I didn't receive an email confirmation but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't send one out. If you have confirmation that they send one out, then I suppose that doesn't bode well for me.

No I don't, I registered just like you. That number listed for 65 is different from the BF models, Just have not gotten an email. I thought it was odd and went back to check and enter the chat. That lead to all this mess. Hope it's just a misunderstanding. Thanks for sharing your experience and hope others can bring more clarity.

Does this TV have Airplay? ( I read that a bunch of Roku TVs received updates providing airplay recently).
Yes, I was able to stream my iPhone's display and sound to the Onn no problem.

Well for sure I'm going to keep that big bastard of a box for the next 2 years for some self-insurance at least. Hope this would be handled by Onn or Walmart, just confusing since Onn is new and they are not "claiming" this BF TV.

No, your link was the same as what I used originally. I just mentioned the domain, you provided the direct page.

What's your personal take on this warranty stuff?

Honestly, at this price point if it craps out on me and I throw it to the curb, I won't lose any sleep over it. I've spent more money on throwaway entertainment that didn't last a full night. I'd prefer to have a warranty, but again, this is throwaway spend at this point.

I realize not everyone will have that perspective and I don't mean to impose it on anyone else, but I'm probably older than most people buying this TV and in a different place in life where my priorities are going to be unlike most. That said, I'm also not a videophile so I'm not looking for perfection. I wanted a 4K TV to fill a specific space in the family room and the size was perfect.
