You will not easily find a gaming laptop with a touch screen, they pretty much don't exist.
what is your definition of a gaming laptop in this case? is combination of discrete gfx card and a touchscreen that rare? or you just mean at this price point.

Screen is good for 62% of the sRGB. Obviously it's a gaming laptop, but anyone who had ideas for photo/video work and need accurate color spacing need not apply.

Otherwise, love these specs for the price.
Thank you for pointing this out.

I haven't posted many high rated deals, but every time I get the same results. When I give reputation it's always 4 points, but everybody giving me rep is 0.

That's because people giving you rep are newer users. Happens to me all the time so I asked a mod.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info. It's too bad slickdeals doesn't allow them to give 1 point instead of 0.

Why not spend a little more to get a better computer?
you are not gonna find anything with discrete graphics that's a significant speed upgrade for at least 200-300$ more. the 1650 is slightly slower than the older 1060 maxQ but not that much slower so it's still very good for a lot of purpose that an IGP won't do.

The avail of dual 4K60hz video outputs and usb C with DP HDMI 2.0 along with decent number of usb ports are what would work for a lot of people that might use this as a portable cheap workstation.

Is it possible to actually catch deals like that? Or should I expect them to be sold out after like 2 seconds?

No one wants a gaming laptop with a touchscreen. So they add touchscreens to other types of laptops.

People have mentioned this will sell out quick, but when does it start on 11/4 and 11/7? Is it active at 12AM? What timezone?

Very very helpful. Thanks. Lighter and better battery is def. my preference so i guess i will stick with what I have..for $450,..think this was a bargain. Can you elaborate on your point abt being able to upgrade soldered ram? Where can i find those modules?
I thought I saw a youtube video where someone swapped it out. Must've been the wrong one. Sorry for the confusion. It's very difficult to upgrade that then.

I have the previous gen's model to this one (i5 8500 and 1050ti) and ram is upgradeable and it has an NVME slot. I paid $479 2 years ago and have had zero issues. I'm typing this on it right now. It's not my main bitch, but it's great for travel and living room computer use. When traveling for work, I can game- but I'd say keep your expectations reasonable. Dark Souls games run totally fine so that's good enough for me!

So the 8gb memory is soldered and we can't add another 8gb memory? Can anyone confirm? I tried searching info on it but no results came in.
