I have the previous gen's model to this one (i5 8500 and 1050ti) and ram is upgradeable and it has an NVME slot. I paid $479 2 years ago and have had zero issues. I'm typing this on it right now. It's not my main bitch, but it's great for travel and living room computer use. When traveling for work, I can game- but I'd say keep your expectations reasonable. Dark Souls games run totally fine so that's good enough for me!
Good info TU. Is there only 1 m.2 slot and no 2.5" slot?

It has one of each. One SATA and one NVME.

So online only on both dates?
It's confusing. I've never seen a deal that was offered on two separate dates ahead of time.
What happens if they sell out completely on 11/4?

No one wants a gaming laptop with a touchscreen. So they add touchscreens to other types of laptops.
right. but if instead you want a touchscreen laptop that you can also do light gaming (or slightly more than light gaming on) you get the laptop I picked up a 3-4 years ago when I was able to get a Asus Q524UQ for under $500. Today it's not playing anything at full spec with only a 940mx under the hood, but everything still plays acceptably. So I'll just keep my eyes open.

I don't think they are planning on offering it on two separate dates. I was just looking at a couple of different Black Friday deal websites and it appears that Walmart is having two events, 11/4 and 11/17. Both dates have completely different ads. This HP gaming laptop is in the ad for 11/4 so it's only going to be offered for that price on that date.

Your links aren't working. So does the sale start at 12am on 11/4?
