its too big for only 1080p, you will be able to see the pixels. not a bad deal its just not ideal on the specs.

Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.

I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.

For a monitor most will agree 1080p on a 32" is doodoo but you do you bro.

Acer's website says 5ms response time and 1ms response time on the same page. Anyone know for sure which is correct? https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/con....JE0AA.S03

What do you guys think the odds are that these will instantly sell out? I don't want to get my hopes up. Is there any info on how many will be in stock?
Thinking if it's in the ad they will have a good chunk for online. Maybe the stuff on the front page (that big ass TV for $230) or consoles might go fast.

Text bothers me on 1080 above 25", calibration never fully helps. Games that can render higher than the monitor and downsample will be no problem, but games that don't like Forza Horizon 4 end up with some nasty noise/jags on tree leaves etc. that makes you feel like youre playing on an Xbox One X.

Almost ran to do the affirm plan and buy this because I'm an idiot and forgot to check the resolution lmao. Anyone know of a good 4k monitor with HDR? Looking to use one for my ps4 pro, so I can't do 1440p. Sorry if this is the wrong place to mention.

All thesd your folk not growing up with 480p as your best image quality. You would have that on a 48 inch and it looked awesome. Now 1080p at 31" looks bad? It's all perspective. I read people all the time saying 27" at 1080p looks bad. I don't see it. I use an LG 34" 3440x1440p as my main monitor, but still use my 1080 monitor as secondary for work all day. Both are fine and gamed on a 32" 720p for years. It all lookes good compared to where I started.
For productivity, this resolution is horrible. So is a 1080p 27 inch. Anyone that has multiple windows open simultaneously will be doing themselves an injustice with a 1080p monitor 27"+. Can't speak for gaming since I don't game.

Anyone that is working with less than two monitors is doing themselves and injustice. I have 3 monitors for home and work with a KVM switch for my keyboard, mouse, webcam, and wireless headset to bounce between my personal (gaming pc) and my work laptop (x1 carbon).

1080p at 27 is fine. I also have a very large desk, so maybe everyone else is sitting closer than me to these things. But I have two 27" 1080p and an ultrawide LG 34" IPS gaming monitor in the middle. I would never try to multi window view on anything smaller than a 21:9 aspect ratio. You can do it, but it lookks bad. 80% of my work happens in the LG, but I can't present in ultrawide, which I screen share all day being a project manager. So I need a 1080p 16:9 because that's what everyone else has. So why not be bigger?

I have a Benq gaming monitor as my other 27" and the contrast is great. It's not as sharp as my LG, but there is a bigger difference between my LG and the other 1080p.

Are you sure? Acer's own product page says 1ms. How do you know it is 5ms?

Looks like they updated it. Now it only says 1ms on the product page. Other users on the thread are saying this is a 5ms monitor though. Still not completely sure.
