Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.
I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.

LOL...some gamers are myopic, thinking that other people who buy these types of monitors will use it mainly/only for gaming purposes.
I ordered 28 of these for our offices.

An average buyer does not need to be an elitist nor a PPI-phile to own a 4K TV, since 1080Ps have been obsolete for several market cycles. When they realize that simple text on their new 1080P monitor cannot match their existing TV's sharpness, they will regret their purchase. A high refresh rate is no consolation for the average buyer.
This monitor's previous market was first-person shooter gamers, not the sub $200 buyer.
Considering what I currently use to game on is my 47 inch 1080p 65hz tv from like 2008 I think this monitor would be a welcome upgrade for gaming. When I 4k products like a ps5 I'll look into a 4k tv and better monitor
I had a 27 inch 1080p... Which I upgraded to a Dell 32 inch 1440p... And trust me... 1080p on 32 is not worth it.. having said that... If you are on a tight budget and are willing to sacrifice on the experience... Sure.. go ahead... But my suggestion would be 1440p atleast for anything 27 inch and above... It's worth it... And it's future proof...
I have both a 27" dell i picked up years ago at 1080p and a 27" 1440p ViewSonic monitor I picked up off letsgo for cheap. 1440p is better for multitasking but, I'd be hard-pressed to complain about a 1080p 32" 165hz monitor especially at $150. You're paying twice as much for 1440p and the extra screen real estate should make up for the lower pixel count no?
Okay I'm convinced after reading this thread its not worth it, are there any other good monitor deals on black friday besides this?
Agreed - 1080p kills me and I'd rather spend a little more to get the right monitor, than sacrifice that specification to save a little $.
Nothing on BF ads have shown up yet for other deals but I can't imagine why there wouldn't be...
I had a 27" in 1080p and it was already terrible. Can't imagine how bad 32" at 1080p is.
It varies. Some people can't see that difference. You need to try it out yourself. I'm fine with it and would never go 1440p without a 3000 series card.

Which is funny, because most competitive gamers use 24-27" monitors, 1080P, @144hz. Coulda fooled me that people who do it for a living are doing it terribly.
Back in my day, I had vertical color lines running up and down my broken LCD laptop screen, but felt fortunate to have a laptop computer. Everyone in college thought I was a total geek for bringing one to class.
who cares what they think. Just be who you want to be!
What do you guys think the odds are that these will instantly sell out? I don't want to get my hopes up. Is there any info on how many will be in stock?

All thesd your folk not growing up with 480p as your best image quality. You would have that on a 48 inch and it looked awesome. Now 1080p at 31" looks bad? It's all perspective. I read people all the time saying 27" at 1080p looks bad. I don't see it. I use an LG 34" 3440x1440p as my main monitor, but still use my 1080 monitor as secondary for work all day. Both are fine and gamed on a 32" 720p for years. It all lookes good compared to where I started.
Sadly... it didn't look awesome at all, standards were just FAR lower and you wouldn't sit nearly as close.
Remember for a long time you would watch 480i/p on a 21"-32" TV from 12-15 feet across the living room which made it more bearable with low standards.
For a game or movie this is likely fine, but doing normal computer activities would not be nearly as enjoyable.
