I've enjoyed it quite a bit at the full price via Steam. If you have local players who aren't afraid of playing a game that's got a bit more to chew on vs something like Smash, it's a great deal.
Basically, it will require more time and thought than Smash Bros or Lethal League, but in return offers a more rich experience for those who want one. At 5 bucks, if you think your local group of friends would at all be interested in a arcade style 1v3 game, it's a no brainer. Also the soundtrack and audio in general is amazing.

Anyone played this? Is it worth $4.99 or a waste of space?

I paid full price on Steam and am going to drop $5 to have it on switch as it should be easier in general to get 4 ppl on a game than with PC and I'd love to play it more.

I played it more than a year ago and it's a good frantic time, so I definitely recommend it. I do feel like the 1 player can figure out the game well enough and the 3-man team can feel pretty weak once this happens. Still def worth $5. Just maybe put it aside for a long while between sessions.

If they could give this game an update to make online play available, it would be such a great game. Playing 1 player by myself during covid was still pretty fun. But it would be elevated to great with online play.
I see a lot about multiplayer in the comments. Is this best played with multiplayer or can someone play this individually and still enjoy it?
You can play single player but you have to add bots, and they're not nearly as fun as humans. I love this game but I'd have a hard time recommending it for single player only.
Well worth $5 as a couch co-op game. I've done multiple rounds with friends and we had a blast. The single-player exists, and there's maybe 5 hours of content that you'll enjoy, but it's best to just enjoy it as a couch co-op game.
Great game. I bought this when I saw it on the PS4 and 5 buck is a steal for a coach co op. Be prepared for alot of shit talking when playing with friends.

Ton of fun couch competitive game of a style rarely seen.
$5 is a great price.
Edit: I bought it on Steam and the re-bought it on Switch to have it portable.
