My wife is going to ask me why I bought her new headphones, and I have to tell her it's for me. Need to think this through...
I've used these and owned the H9s and honestly the sound quality was so mediocre for the price. I wouldn't recommend personally.
I had a pair of Tao and the sound wasn't great, build quality wasn't good, and they didn't last. I only tried one so I really can't say much for the brand, but I have felt the same way about many of the cheap brands. I always thought of them as "I can make do until I can afford better". Bluetooth 5 and longer battery life are secondary to me to sound, comfort, and relaibility.

Bought these in green for $300 in 2018 and have been rocking them ever since. Personally I love how they sound! Sound signature may not be for everyone but at $100, these are an absolute steal. Tempted to buy this again even tho I don't like the color...
You are 100% on the money. Modern music makes these perfect. As well as a full day fit. May not be for the classical folks though.
Is this the model that has replaceable batteries? If not, does anyone know which one is? XD I don't remember :x but I vaguely seem to recall that it's a B&O headset
Just bought them after looking at the great reviews online and YouTube they are 1st generation but sound since been updated many times and well worth the money for sound and comfort. No noise cancelation but the muffs keeps mostly out.
I think mx3 and or nc700 sounds better than this 1gen. Come on mannnn. It is $100. Buy this asap for 2020 Xmas🎅
Weird, I feel like this is the first time something marketed toward woman that I actually am falling for. The color really appeals to me and I hate girly colors. I think it just works with the overall design. If I wasn't looking for a headset I might have gotten this. Not being noise canceling probably was really the deciding factor.
"Girly colors?" A real man can make any color work so I wouldn't suggest these unless you feel like you're really masculine.
How can they have stellar performance on airplanes without noise cancellation? And please don't tell me clamping force.
They are all day comfortable and do not clamp. It's just a solid, secure fit. It must be in the headphone padding. They are not noise cancelling, but still (with music/movie on) clean out most sounds.
Your questioning sounds very aggressive. I'm speaking from experience. I travel with three sets, these in black, my Beats Studio 3's, and my Powerbeats Pros. If you want to know how they really sound, order repair of the H4s and buy a plane ticket.

Still stellar performance on airplanes... Not that that's an issue anymore.

I've had mine for a year and a half. I wear them on network install jobs regularly.
I have Studio 3's also.. the sound quality is comparable, but the fit/performance aren't in the same ballpark.. not enough to compare.
I caved and just bought one again! Price was too good to pass up lol

For comparison, it's $200 at Amazon [amazon.com] with 1200+ reviews
