Just got an email from Redpocket about a flash sale on ebay; more details at the link below.
7 GB/mth at $209.99 for a year (17.50 per month); available on CDMA / CDMAS / GSMA
20 GB/mth at $299.99 for a year ($25 per month); available on CDMAS / GSMA.
Ebay currently has a 5% ebay bucks offer upto 10/22 midnight; offer by invitation only, YMMV.
Expired
Go to this link for the info about the RP offers (including a 2GB /mth offer that doesn't look like a particularly great deal..), plus the links to their ebay offers..

Note that if your current plan is on a different network (for example, neither the 7 GB or the 20 GB plans are available on GSMT / T-mo network) - you won't be able to "renew", but you can switch using the sim.
On mint when i'm down to 2G, i just load 1 page at a time.
dont multi-tab till that page has finished loading. (it doesnt take that long since it's mobile mode)
64k/sec is unusable. that's why i dropped Tello ($5/month plus unlimited 64k/sec) and went to Mint.
anyone run a speed test on Red Pocket when they're down to 2G speeds?
Yes, I bought their Verizon CDMA service about a month ago. You contact their web chat and they enable it, takes a few minutes. One thing to note is that it will cost you an extra $1 +tax monthly as an add-on to enable Visual Voicemail for iPhones. I switched from another Verizon MVNO and I'm very happy paying $21 per month per device for 5GB service in an annual lump sum. It's saving me hundreds.
But be careful.
The new plan takes over your existing plan. It does NOT add onto it.
So if you have 50 days or 10 days left on your existing plan and you re-up,
you will loose those days.

If there is one criticism I've got about Red Pocket, it's they don't notify you when your plan expired or is about to expire.
So it takes me a few hours to realize my phone is no longer receiving calls.

GSMA supports wifi calling on many ATT branded phones that also support it. You may not be so lucky with general unlocked phones. Samsungs and Pixels. Also their MMS downstream server is awful. You may not be able to download texts or some you send may arrive hours after you sent them out of order. (Sometimes in the middle of the night). I had several tickets get escalated past them to ATT but never got anywhere.
Finally got fed up had had them move my service to CDMAV and in general have had a better experience. Although there is zero support for Wi-Fi calling on CDMAV. Their texting works as normal.
If you get their CDMAS I believe it does support wifi calling but can't verify that personally. I'm curious about their coverage with this since they merged sprint merged and blended networks with T-Mobile. Might have potential.
