Just got an email from Redpocket about a flash sale on ebay; more details at the link below.

7 GB/mth at $209.99 for a year (17.50 per month); available on CDMA / CDMAS / GSMA

20 GB/mth at $299.99 for a year ($25 per month); available on CDMAS / GSMA.

Ebay currently has a 5% ebay bucks offer upto 10/22 midnight; offer by invitation only, YMMV. Expired

Go to this link for the info about the RP offers (including a 2GB /mth offer that doesn't look like a particularly great deal..), plus the links to their ebay offers..

Is there tethering available on the 20gb plan? For the At&t network?

It becomes almost totally unusable at that point. I know because I did it once.

Its really not Unlimited. Its a trap. Dont take Redpocket. Its crap. I have an Unlimited plan but keep disconnecting saying over usage. With Covid people are working remote and usage is littile over than Normal. Cutting calls on Onlimited plan is not correct. Stay away. I was withNet10 for an year and absolutely no issues. Stay away from Redpocket. Every day i have to call RP and wait on call for 30 mins to get my phone working for the rest of the day. They hire their reps to do monkey job to deal with these issues. Its a Sick company.

I've been with RedPocket for 2.5 years or so. GSMA and now CDMAV. RedPocket is a barebones service. It works but as others have stated don't count on the 2g. This new plan is 2 gbs more than the old plan and is enough for me now. I flirted with 5gbs on the last two days of the plan frequently.

GSMA supports wifi calling on many ATT branded phones that also support it. You may not be so lucky with general unlocked phones. Samsungs and Pixels. Also their MMS downstream server is awful. You may not be able to download texts or some you send may arrive hours after you sent them out of order. (Sometimes in the middle of the night). I had several tickets get escalated past them to ATT but never got anywhere.

Finally got fed up had had them move my service to CDMAV and in general have had a better experience. Although there is zero support for Wi-Fi calling on CDMAV. Their texting works as normal.

If you get their CDMAS I believe it does support wifi calling but can't verify that personally. I'm curious about their coverage with this since they merged sprint merged and blended networks with T-Mobile. Might have potential.

I like Red Pocket a lot. I have some issues with it, but not too many, and it's great for the price.

Red Pocket is my favorite MVNO so far. I am on the CDMAV, signal is good, free international calling and text. Never need to use the 2G data, especially now I am working from home. I use no more than 500mb per month for the last six month but paid for the 2GB annual plan. Only had one incident which they calculated my annual plan date wrong. It was resolved by one phone call.

Dang, great sale. i was about to jump on the $360 last month but it expired. Ended up joining a GoPhone group. $34/month for unlimited on AT&T Prepaid. I was reckless with my data last month and only used 10GB. Feel like 20GB would be enough, and I'd rather pocket an extra $9/month. Oh well.

I had RedPocket > Sprint > Cricket > Mint > AT&T Prepaid x2. I would not go back to Sprint or Mint (at least in my area). RedPocket is indistiguishable from AT&T Prepaid/Postpaid to me. So deprio (like on mint) or poor coverage (like on Sprint). You might have a lil trouble porting in but it's a few min of effort over the course of a few days of anxiety, and in the end you get a $25 monthly plan that includes 20GB data. Pretty fair trade if you ask me.

Don't fall for these comments. RP is horrible. Unlimited is no where close to unlimited. If you want to waste 1 hour everyday talking to their reps then go for it. Trust me was with Net10 for 1 year plan. Contacted them once when I setup my account that too just chatted. Their service was outstanding. Worth spending few more bucks. RP is not good.

Thanks for sharing. The previous promo was at the same price (The Oct 12th slickdeals posting) and expired a couple of days ago.

Also added the current ebay bucks promo.
