the biggest mistake people make in buying home theater equipment is getting bundles. There is no "One size fits all". everyone has different rooms and listening preferences which means for most people this is not the best solution. you should focus on buying one quality piece at a time to get the most for your money.
the lame thing about the description is that it says the system is "dolby Atmos ready". which is a BS marketing statement as every single speaker made is atmos ready. which type of atmos speakers you get is very dependent on your room particulars, but understand that home atmos was designed as a ceiling mounted variant for the ultimate experience. using "enabled" is a lot harder to get the best results from.
Right. Sold by ASD and shipped by Amazon w/ Amazon Prime shipping where available. I was simply listing the website where the deal was available -- sorry for the confusion.

There was no confusion. That guy's just being annoying for no reason.

So as someone who's looking to enter the home cinema world without spending thousands of dollars, the question is:
Is this worth it? Considering you are not getting either a subwoofer or an AVR of course.
Also, what do they mean Dolby Atmos ready? I suppose there are no upfiring speakers, therefore this is simulated?
Finally, I guess white is gonna look ugly in most living rooms...

I agree it is misleading, but I think the "Dolby Atmos ready" is referring to the outputs at the back of the two front S803 speakers and a mounting area to connect their "S 8 ATM" speakers they sell separately. Although they are upward firing speakers, not ceiling mounted ones.

If I remember correctly, these exact speakers were (maybe in black not white) $200 last year and at the start of this year. Maybe wait for BF if you are not in rush to get a slightly better deal.
These are great speakers. I use the S803's for my two surrounds (LCR is the JBL 530s + 520c). I bought this set in walnut way back when I put together my system and still have the 801's for when I have room for rear surrounds.
The price of this entire set is on par with the price for a pair of S803's.
Wow this is insane value. I love my Jamos, same model series but with towers, and would jump on this if I didn't already have two complete surround sound systems.
