Psycho 2 and 3 are both really fun and underrated horror movies. Part 4 is also a movie.

That was exactly what I was thinking.

But...I ended up buying the set since the last 3 movies actually sound like the would be worth watching.

He also directed one of them I believe. Some actors get typecast based on the success of one role, but it looks like he tried to make the most of it.

Excellent price for the collection.
Part 2 is an underrated high-quality sequel.

Part 3 is solid, though very 80s - the violence is a bit more graphic and gory than then the other 2. It's probably the closest to a "slasher flick" that the series offers.

Part 4 was a made for t.v. movie. It's not great, but it stars Perkins and Henry Thomas. It's essentially an origin story. Worth a watch for fans of the series.

Wave
I have the first one on DVD. For 13 bucks I figured it is worth picking up the whole set on Blu-ray.
