UPDATE: The $99 price should be on your Lowes app and may not be on the Lowes website or the store. I showed the Lowes app to customer service and received the price difference from $139 when I bought it online on October 3, 2020. You have a few days to get this deal with the free 2.0 24 volts Kobalt battery.

USE THE Lowes Price Match Guarantee Policy to get you the price difference.

VCG Construction on YouTube Channel showed it on sale for $99 with other tools for the same price. I bought it three weeks ago for $139.

I have this tool. I have found many uses for it. I have the big 1/2 impact and I have some cordless 3/8 ratchets. The cordless ratchets don't have the power to bust loose rusty bumper bolts, suspension bolts, and brake bolts like this right angle impact. I originally bought it to remove stuck spark plugs on 60 year old machine. Using this tool saved me hours of disassembly other components to get room for the larger impact.

The cordless ratchets are not designed to bust loose bolts with their motor power alone.

You are supposed to provide the nut-busting power by pushing or pulling on it like you would with a non-powered ratchet and then once its loose, you pull the trigger to zip it off the rest of the way.

interested at $99 but this one review makes me cautious.

There may be a manufacturing defect w/this tool
I bought this tool on Friday. It's only the bare tool. Lowes needs to change the description. That aside, there is a serious issue that I encountered with not only one, but two copies, of this tool. The first one I bought started to leak fluid from the spindle area just behind the anvil. The look and viscosity appear to me to be that of oil. The tool has grease inside, but that's a thicker compound that is red in color. That's not what was coming out. So I took the tool back to Lowes on Saturday and the new one had the same problem. I only used the tool to fasten 14mm strut tower nuts. These do not require much torque, certainly well within the torque specs for this tool. As such, I contacted Chervon (not Chevron) who is the manufacturer of the tool. It took a while to finally reach the right individual, but she confirmed that this is not normal. Even stranger, she suggested that I return this second one and try a third one. I asked her twice to confirm that as this seems to me to be a manufacturing defect. She told me to try a third one and that I should return the third one if it has the same problem. Right now I am waiting for Lowes to restock the tool. I will update this review once I try the third copy. Maybe the third time is the charm. BTW, I own a Kobalt mid torque impact wrench, compact impact wrench, and impact ratchet, none of these have exhibited this problem.

Great sale. I believe they're getting rid of the line. I got few tools for the yard from them. So far so good.

Went to two Lowes this morning. First Lowes did not have the $99 display and all the tools were in their normal section with their normal price. Second Lowes did have the exact same $99 display per VCG construction. Picked up the Impact Wrench, Ratchet, and two 24V batteries. Scanned the ratchet and it rung up at the normal price of $119 at self checkout. I was able to get hold of the manager, showed her the display, she thought only certain tools were $99 even though the item pictures, SKUs, and the item itself was in this $99 display. She agreed to do the manager override for both. After the override, I asked if they will still honor the free battery offer which they weren't sure so we said lets scan those and see what happens. Fortunately, the system knew these should be provided with free batteries so both batteries rang up at the price of $0. So $99+$99+$0+$0 + tax = $213.35. Great deal since I was eyeing these ratchet and impact for a while.

Also picked up Kobalt 24V flash light with free battery for $29.98+tax.

Very happy with the purchase and I now have bunch of 24V batteries!

Congrats on the deals! Also I didn't know the battery was again included with the flashlight. I will buy one of these now.

I know a lot of people comment that they bust loose the nut/bolt with the m12 ratchets , then use the motor.
But I don't think those ratchets are meant to be used as breaker bars.

Funny, but informative @ 6:00 and 19:00.
