monitor it self is pretty solid.
minus not having usb hub if thats your thing.
im happy with just having head phone jack.

Got it with the code and BB CC, I tried switching to Paypal and it removed the coupon so you definitely need the BB CC.

Yup got it to work. But oof I'm reading about gsync flickering at high refresh rates....

In the end, it doesn't even look like it's gsync compatible - I cancelled..

Thanks. I am going to check it out for $400 without coupon. Looks like it is a great value, better blacks / contrast than IPS, worse colors, possible G-Sync flickering, but half the price of comparables.

Plus, always nice to buy a monitor that can be returned locally if there are issues.

You are right, it is not officially "GSync compatible" and people have reported some flickering for both this and the AOC monitor that uses the same panel. But it perform the basic function of Gsync (all Freesync monitors will).

Anybody familiar with the Monoprice Dark Matter 34" monitor with presumably the same panel? It's $100 more on Monoprice's website and I've read it can does a stable overclock to 200hz and handles GSYNC much better: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=40776

But I'm confused becaused it's the same panel as this one? I'm tempted to buy both and test GSYNC on both.

I had the AOC CU34G2X and returned it because the GSYNC flickering was too bad, even after following the tutorials online to change the base refresh rate.
