I don't think this is a minor thing either after reading a dozen pages or so and may be a deal breaker for many.

Look under the 4th column for 85" version's specifications.
TV weight without stand is 100.9 lbs or 105.1lbs with stand.
Location of VESA holes can be found here: http://sonypremiumhome
For those with 3 year warranty on their boxes Sony has already confirmed the 5 year applies

$1970 85" version cost 63.8 cents per square inch of screen
$1599 75" version cost 66.5 cents per square inch of screen
$970 65" version cost 53.7 cents per square inch of screen
Therefore, the 75" version is the worst choice and actually cost more than the 85" version when looking at cost per square inch of screen

Costco.com VS Costco Warehouses (physical stores)
Costco.com vs Costco Warehouses (physical stores) act as 2 different business units and will not price match if bought from the "other" store.

30-day Price Adjustment
Multiple people have chatted/talked with customer support and have posted proof that orders will be price adjusted.
Multiple Costco.com orders even have the price adjustment already issued.
Free shipping
Costco Warehouses
Price adjustment seems to depend on the associate/store manager so YMMV.
The carton is a beast and DON'T LAY TV FLAT when transporting.
4K 120HZ Blur Issue
(11/13) Sony has acknowledged the blur issue and promised to address it: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254079

You can get a Costco membership for about $50, which I do recommend. Buying with Costco will give you 5 years warranty, despite what it says on the box. It will be better if you have the Costco Citi card, which will give you an extra 2 years.

Just scheduled for 11/21 delivery
There have been numerous reports from people who chatted with costco reps online and they have said they will match. No one can be 100% sure until the time comes.
I just ordered online and set delivery for after 11/20. I figure I can just order again on 11/20. Then I can choose between cancelling the original or trying to price match and canceling the new order. Eitherway, I have some insurance in case of limited stock issues.
Anyways, this issue seems to only affect users who need 120hz. If you are gaming or using it as a monitor for a PC at 60hz, there is still no issue. So the TV is still plenty usable. It's not like there is another alternative at this price and size that is remotely close in quality..
I am still in 90 day return window for 850G (for another week or so) and am wondering whether this may be worth $600 more to upgrade to. HDMI 2.1 does not really interest me much though.
I am GENERALLY happy with 850G, BUT wifi is terrible (I was never able to connect it to my wifi network even though EVERYTHING else will connect just fine), I do have it wired so it isn't an issue at the moment though.
Thanks.

I agree the response they have given thus far is ridiculous but it is far too early to make any conclusions. It could have just been a mis-informed rep or they haven't even formulated their real response so we're getting made up responses.
