I am a Civil Engineer and I did the math for you:

$1970 85" version cost 63.8 cents per square inch of screen
$1599 75" version cost 66.5 cents per square inch of screen
$970 65" version cost 53.7 cents per square inch of screen

Therefore, the 75" version is the worst choice and actually cost more than the 85" version when looking at cost per square inch of screen

Rtings.com review: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900h (IMHO one of the best LED TV's out there)

Costco.com VS Costco Warehouses (physical stores)

Costco.com vs Costco Warehouses (physical stores) act as 2 different business units and will not price match if bought from the "other" store.

Costco.com

Costco.com Price Adjustment Page: https://customerservice.costco.co...l/a_id/628
30-day Price Adjustment
Multiple people have chatted/talked with customer support and have posted proof that orders will be price adjusted.
Multiple Costco.com orders even have the price adjustment already issued.
Free shipping

Costco Warehouses

Price adjustment seems to depend on the associate/store manager so YMMV.
The carton is a beast and DON'T LAY TV FLAT when transporting.

4K 120HZ Blur Issue

(11/13) Sony has acknowledged the blur issue and promised to address it: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254079
Here is the Sony support page: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254078

Hope this helps!

Hah. I also got the 75" on the 1570 sale. Wife saw me looking at this and gave me a hard no.

Only reason for that would be to have the option to cancel the order if there are price adjustment issues. But if you order online you will be fine. If you're worried, online chat with them and check, then save that convo if there's an issue.
Yup, that was my immediate thought after posting my reply. I'm chatting wit them now. Smilie

when i spoke to the rep they said i could go ahead and request the price adjustment. when you do so there is an option you can click that the product hasnt shipped yet so... i certainly don't know but i think you should be ok. others have indicated similarly in this thread
When you do that, it says it will be processed within 3-5 days after it is shipped.

I have delivery 11/24

It may be easier to just order on 11/20 and then cancel the existing order. If they are out of stock, you still have the orig order that you should be able to price match.

I would think you would be fine. I set mine to be delivered on the 28th so I have time to put up a wall mount and run wires with the bonus of it being delivered during the sale so I have time to cancel and reorder if they give me any trouble with the price adjustment.
How high are you thinking of mounting this? Asking because if the mid point of the screen is 42" then the bottom of the TV is only 20.5' off the ground which seems really low.

Trying to order now, but their site tells me that earliest delivery is 11/11. I then allows me to select 11/10 (but not 11/11) and then at final stages of ordering tells me that date isn't available. Then I try bumping up to the next available date and get the same error. Then bump again and still same error. Ugh.

You don't need to select white glove for return service. White glove provides packaging removal, fixing to the base provided and connecting to power and one video source.

OK, so an update to my ordering dilemma...I'm using a MacBook and Safari and decided to try using Chrome, just in case it gave me a different result. And it did! Again, it told me that the earliest delivery date was 11/11, and this time it pre-selected 11/10 for me (weird), but gave me an error about that date when I tried to submit it. But *this time* it showed 11/11 as an available date. I selected it and after re-submitting I got an order confirmation message.

As some additional background, I have the Honey app extension on Safari (which informs me that "I already have the best price" when I try using that applet to get a discount on Costco), but maybe my problem has something to do with that plugin? Or maybe Costco.com just has some bizarre issues with people using Safari? I have no idea, but at least my order has been placed and I have a chat convo that seems "good enough" for confirming that they should do a price adjustment (more on that just-barely-good-enough chat convo later).

Great question. That is one thing I'm working on figuring out in my room. With that said I have helped someone mount this exact TV. If I remember correctly the mount holes on this TV are not centered height wise; they are low. So the TV does sit up higher than expected on the wall mount. I for sure don't want to have to look up at the thing.

The mounting holes are low and not centered as per attached pic
