Therefore, the 75" version is the worst choice and actually cost more than the 85" version when looking at cost per square inch of screen

Forget about hdmi2.1. Who knows if Sony will get it right for this generation of tvs. They're having known issues with it on the 900h. It's 1st generation hardware so there is bound to be growing pains and compatibility issues.
This one goes on sale for less than $40, should be able to mount with no issues although it says 80inch.
