I walked side to side, in order to scrutinize the among of picture degradation off-center — since this has been widely listed as a concern by some. I think it did very well off-axis — didn't wash out much, yes a little, but still a great picture, IMO.
So I bought it and it's been delivered.... but I haven't unboxed it yet. Keeping it in the box until a friend can come over and help me get it up on the wall mount.

The bummer with in-store purchase is — no delivery option.
You have to haul it away. And this TV does not fit in a typical SUV.
I think you need a Tahoe, or Minivan or a real Van to haul fit this sucker. It's huge.

Setting up a tv this size is recommended to be a 3 person job.
The legs are put on by sliding out a section of packing foam from underneath the tv (while helpers keep the tv upright, while it's still sitting on the center piece of foam) and then you insert the leg (the helper on that end of the tv might need to lift the tv a little.
Regardless.... I don't see the point in putting on legs in order to put on wall mount brackets.
It's much more efficient to for person #3 to just put the brackets on while 1 and 2 keep the tv upright standing on its packing foam. Person 3 will need to measure the positioning of the brackets on the tv versus the mount on the wall versus anything underneath the tv that must be cleared (such as a cabinet).
Measure twice, cut once.
This will increase your chances of getting the mount height right the first time. Really want to avoid having to take the tv off the mount again and adjust brackets and hange it again, etc. That's more chance for accidents to happen.
The two people holding the Tv at the sides should have grippy gloves on.

I had read some criticisms of the other two mounts (one from Sanus) that Costco sells that they went off-level when extended.
I'll try to remember to post back regarding my experiences with it after I install it and get the TV on it.
And the FMX3 looks like a great design and they have an installation video for it.
its like 40 mins but its good to know what each setting does .
