Thanks, OP! I have been putting up with the software shortcomings of Vizio's OLED due to the price point, but this is just too good to pass up. Hopefully the LG fairs better.
They are giving me the run around on price matching my previous purchase that is still within its return period. They are saying because the $1349.99 is the My Best Buy Member price promotion and a price match is a promotion, they cannot apply 2 promotions. So the best they can price match the TV is to $1399.99

I've chatted with a rep using the app this morning and they were able to adjust my price down to today's $3449.99. I purchased the 77cx with the mybestbuy pricing of $3749.99 back then on 9/11/2020.
I was really tempted to get it from here due to the burn in protection with the extended warranty however I ended up going with Costco.
I had the C7 for 3 years and put 5,000 hours in it and didn't have any issues

I had the same issue trying to price match earlier this month (... admittedly glad I didn't given the new price tag). Their T&Cs do actually call this out, but they did accommodate me today (eventually) when calling into the BBY elite phone number instead of chat
Will this work well with next gen consoles? Apologies if this is a dumb question, my assumption is yes, but I'm not sure if there's others at the same price point that are better suited. TIA!

My 65C7 is still going strong at 10.5K hours. Also worth noting that LG has been courtesy replacing the panels for original owners if burn-in happens within 4 years of purchase (not formal warranty, but tons of stories of this on reddit & avsforum). I'm tempted by this deal, but until I start having problems with my current one it's hard to justify even with the new consoles arriving next month.

Do you guys think they will continue to drop in price as we get closer to black Friday/cyber Monday?
I doubt it on the 65, maybe a little on the 55, but I doubt it will be much. I suspect you might see it lower around the Super Bowl when they start clearing out older models.
