Yeah I ended up going to the $300 one. I'm building a new PC that has to last. My current PC was built in 2013 and has a 4770. Only upgrade was a gtx 1070 gpu and added some hard drives.

Are you me lol? I'm exactly the same and bought the 1TB version. Waiting for 5600X and too bad wan't able to snag a 3070 today lol

Ha yeah i'm in a similar boat. Deciding between the 5600 and 5800. Also deciding between a 3080 (been trying for both 3080 and 3070 today with no luck) or a 6800 XT. I'm no leaning towards full AMD. Definitely going Lian Li 011D XL case and eyeing the x570 tomahawk MB. Great minds think alike!
